At this point, all we know about the University of Tennessee student who is rumored to be the subject of an investigation into the Governor Sarah Palin email hack-attack is that he is the son of State Representative Mike Kernell (D) from Memphis. WBIR is reporting:
The son of state Rep. Mike Kernell has been contacted by authorities in connection with a probe into the hacking of personal e-mail of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Kernell confirmed on Thursday.
To be CLEAR, at this point no charges have been filed. At this point, we only have confirmation of contact by the authorities.
But…if David Kernell is the young man responsible for the hack-attack, here are some screenshots of David Kernell’s facebook sent to me from some UT college students who don’t wish to be identified. Note, I edited the 2nd page by taking a new shot of the entire screenshot in order to avoid publishing his mobile phone number.

There is an apparent connection between David Kernell and David Plouffe. If you do a Technorati search for “david kernell” (http://www.technorati.com/search/%22david+kernell%22?authority=a4&language=en) and then click on Videos about David Kernell, the first video you see if of David Plouffe (Campaign manager for Obaman). He probably did the video for Plouffe.
This is not a casual connection.

I went to that site yesterday and actually did the search that the commenter recommended. I don’t see how he could have possibly reached a conclusion that Plouffe is linked based on that search. He speculates that the video may have been made by Kernell for Plouffe since it appears in the search. However, there are many other videos that appear in the search. Including one where “Borat meets David Letterman”.

I didn’t know “The King of Queens” was a Palin supporter, but I’m glad to hear it.

I couldn't pull it up either. It just takes me to technocrati home page. Did David Kernell+David Plouffe Search which brought up nothing.
Maybe the kid will talk when the authorities corner him.
I seem to recall a few years ago Newt Gingrich's cell phone calls were illegally recorded and spread to the media and the Democrat operatives who committed this crime were given wrist slaps. I suspect the same will happen here.
Ok. I don’t mean to fuel more speculation. But I went back to that page of Videos and the David Plouffe daily strategy video was gone. The other videos (including the one of Borat) are still there. The Plouffe one is completely gone.
