Yes, this is a FReeper-friendly rally.

Since they are “honoring” Ahmadinejad, can we assume that they also would have honored Hitler? These “religious” groups are nothing but a bunch of leftists with an agenda. The same people who want to pin medals on Reverend Wright and Father Pfleger.

There is a very hippie section in the Mennonite Church that does a lot with the UN but must turn off its brain to do it.

They are not the horse and buggy Mennonites, but the Mennonites are all about peace though in past wars they did serve honorably in the military just not in killing positions.

I know. This is so serious and so many innocents just do not understand what they're helping to support. They've grown up in these "churches" and they don't know that these are no longer their grandfathers' churches.

The left has totally captured the seminaries of these "churches" and there's almost nothing left to salvage. It is a tragedy and helping to create the leftward drift in our society. These "churches" are definitely leading their parishoners down the primrose path.

The World Council of Churches has always been crap and can almost always be counted on to take wrong positions.

I have not been to a Quaker Church or is it meeting unlike the Mennonites, but they like the Mennonites are never suppose to support war or take part if I remember correctly.

I would be nice if these people actually studied islam and figured out it was a killing religion and would never fit into their world-view, but some people and brains do not belong in the same building.

I may even have to make a AHMADINEJAD = HAMAN banner.

Did you mean AHMADINEJAD = HAMAS banner?

Are there horse& buggy Mennonites?

In my area, Mennonites drive, the women wear little white hair covers and ankle-length floral dresses. I have seen them at trade shows selling *Amish* wares, with the women wearing severe mid-calf suits, nylons and shoes with buckles. My understanding is that the Mennonites are mainly sort of *reformed Amish*. I think, theologically, the Mennonites believe in Christ as a personal savior and recruit heavily from disaffected Amish, who do not have a doctrine of personal salvation. IIRC.

They are known here as “Amish with tractors”.

There ARE hippie Mennonites. The ones I am aware of actually began as Vietnam war protesters, looking for a legal religious deferment as conscientious objectors, as Mennonites do not believe in war/self defense.

I hoping you have the proper permits and all that is required.
Do you anticipate media coverage and is safety a concern?

I would like a heads-up from any FReepers who may be going to the rally, I may alter my travel plans next week and pass through the city.

Polish National Churches are not Roman Catholics. It’s tie to Romna catholics is that it’s founder was excommunicated.

Typical extereme left group that’s sponsoring this BS.

Rush just said this was a reception for Am-a-damn-nut-job. Or maybe they are hosting both. The Quakers have been trying to split this country since the Revolution. Now I think this is a ruse.

I am trying to find a website for Jewish Action Alliance and only coming up with actionallaince.org. Please say these aren't the folks doing this.

Do you have a site? How will we know if Anyone will actually be there.. Palin is supposed to be in NY on 22nd. Hard to imagine she would come back 3 days later..

I was really hoping someone would do this but driving 1000 miles is a different thing than just saying well done.
