The hacker is David Kernell, the 20-year old son of Mike Kernell, a Democrat and elected state representative in Tennessee, according to Nashvilles largest newspaper, the Tennessean. ...

Just a matter of time before they connect him with someone related to the Obama campaign.
UPDATE: Terry Frank has screen shots of his facebook pages. Seems there might be a connection to the Obama campaign.
Now why is that gun smoking?
We knew it would be some lib Obambi supporter. Jerk.
Book him!
He’s 20?...as in over 18?....PERFECT.
Lock the jerk and his Dad up. Acorns don’t fall from the tree. Rats are crooked everywhere.
Stand by for ‘he’s just a child...’
I look forward to Barack The Unabama's "I am not a crook" moment.

SECOND UPDATE: A well-informed Tennessee radio host told me this about the hackers dad: He is an extremely leftwing Rep. from Memphis. He has been a full time
state rep. for a long time and never had a real job.
Except maybe probation and a year in his room without the Internet.
This guy is a little maggot, and the WaPo is a big maggot for publishing her e-mail address, but...
Sarah should be smarter than to use standard answers to the standard questions that yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc. use to reset passwords.
The answer seems to be YES - see the article; he hoped to find something to pass on to the Zero.
I’m sure it was an accident.
The son is just a reflection of the daddy. People around Memphis (the daddy’s district is out that way, which is the butt of the state, shapewise) will hail the little prick as a hero ... not enough collective IQ in Memphis to cross the river, and the area is the entitlement capital of the State.
Shouldn’t that plain white tee have a big old FAIL across the front of it?
Sounds as if Mr. Kernell is a successfully " Organized" member of the Democrat community.
He'll be there soon enough. If Tenn delclines to prosecute the feds will be on it. If even the feds decline then I'm sure Alaska could use one more convict to pick up litter.
That’s not what the Tennessean story says. It says that Kernell confirmed that his son is “at the center of heated Internet discussion into the hacking” and confirmed that his son “is being widely named on Internet blogs and chatrooms” in connection with the story. Nowhere in the Tennessean piece does Kernell confirm that the boy is, in fact, the hacker.
And the other blog post referenced in this thread doesn’t have any links in it whatsoever.
Now Kernell’s kid may indeed be the hacker, but I think Miniter jumped the gun. Shouldn’t that fact, if it is a fact, be confirmed before we go to Lowe’s, buy the rope and start picking out a tree with a good strong branch on it?
I’m sorry, but I’m an old school journalist who was taught to get independent confirmation from multiple sources before going with a story. So far, we don’t have one confirmation yet.
Let’s get real confirmation, and I’ll condemn the kid, his dad, the Obama campaign and the ass they all rode in on.
First things first...
