Home safe and sound and late. Stopped for ingredients for a dessert for a potluck tomorrow, BUT....as I left the parking lot at work a guy stopped me and asked if I would go get him some gas. He gave me $5 and a gas can. So off I went, got gas, and brought it back to him. Then I started for the store.

Yes! Just had my one ... five olives with it. I make my late-night with a splash of tonic water, for just the slightest variation in flavor. I'm a dirty martini connoisseur.

I’m kinda new at it..
But I think I’m getting the hang of it!
I am not a fan of sweet cocktails.
Do you like Olives Vertes Picholines?
Yum!

Hey there Kathy. I got called away for a short bit, while we put in new faucets in my bathroom and kitchen. Great farming day today, thanks. I’ll check with Jess to see if they tended to their voting.

And you? You have a good day?

Here's an instant hit dessert: Icebox Pie

Three cups vanilla flavored yogurt
One Cheescake instant pudding mix
One white chocolate instant pudding mix
One Graham cracker crust pie shell --freeze it
One eight ounce Cool Whip (can use reduced fat version)
Four tablespoons of smooth peanut butter

Mix two pudding mixes with three cups vanilla yogurt and whip with whisk (stiffens really fast); spread into the pie shell and return to fridge

Fold together four tablespoons of peanut butter with the cool whip until thoroughly blended, and spread over the yogurt pie filling, return to fridge

Cuts like a key-lime or lemon merangue pie but tastes fantastic

The small amount of tonic water doesn't make it sweet at all. BUT it cuts the sour of so many pimento olives. ; ... And yes to the Olive Vertes Picholines.

Always let the ice cubes melt a bit before drinking the drink, too.

Once it was about time, once it was about policy......and then it was up to politicians. That was a fate undeserved.

But we remember.

It is one of my best inventions! I also make it with dark chocolate pudding instead of white chocoltae pudding in the mix. And if one likes psitacheos, making the two pudding mixes using instant pistacheo and vanilla yogurt, with the same peanut butter-coolwhip topping is great for the nutty flavor (add one more rounded tablespoon of peanut butter though).

Aloha Little Devil! Steely eyed Downeaster, Faithful watch stander for our lost!

Haven't heard much Global Warming news lately......wondering why? Could it be that winter is coming?

When did we ever decide to allow congress to vote on the weather? If they have that on their agenda, don't they have some responsibility for the hurricanes?
