The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission intends to temporarily ban short-selling, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday night. It's unclear if the commission has approved the move, the Journal reported.

Wow. I’m not sure how I feel about this, but down deep I guess I trust that what they’re doing is okay, as long as it’s temporary (which I think it is).
Short selling is extremely risky. Most people don’t know what it is (I can explain it to anyone if they wish).
