WASHINGTON - Nebraska Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel said his party's vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, lacks foreign policy experience and called it a "stretch" to say she's qualified to be president.

"She doesn't have any foreign policy credentials," Hagel said in an interview published Thursday by the Omaha World-Herald. "You get a passport for the first time in your life last year? I mean, I don't know what you can say. You can't say anything."

Yeah right. Congresscritters have almost destroyed this country with their great financial wisdom - and we're suppose to heed their word? Not impressed - inside the country or out.

Sarah will turn over the rocks and see what squirms out - then she'll squash it.

I forgot what the US Constition says about foreign policy credentials being a qualifier for the Presidency or Vice Presidency.

I would love to see Obama’s passports- all of them. In all the names he has held them. Especially the one he used to travel to Pakistan in 1981.

BTW, didn’t Hagel go along as national security military gravitas when CinC-wannabe Obama swept though Iraq and Afghanistan in 72 hours? And spent time in Iraq sleeping, playing b-ball in the gym, and violating the Logan Act?

True, but he seems to have a penchant for saying things that are both stupid and damaging.

Speaking of passports , maybe Barry will enlighten us about his Missing Years.
The times he traveled to Pakistan with Sohale Siddiqi,
Imad Husan ,
Mohammed Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid.
These were Obama’s college roommates on both coasts, through two different colleges.
Amazing coincidence how they all found each other.
All Muslims from Karachi,Pakistan.
Siddiqi was an admitted drug user who took Obama back to his homeland in the 80s for a long visit.

Clarice Feldman wrote a great piece in the American Thinker the other day, with links to more info about Obama’s buddies.

http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/09/obamas_missing_years.html

Obama’s campaign refuses to comment.
And of course the Obamamedia will never report on Obama’s weird travels before he became famous.

The RINO’s expected mccain to stick to the reservation and pick a rino compatable VP.

Somebody who would be solid behind the oprafication of america. (christine todd whitman, pro abortion republicans, etc.)

It was sad to see Palin praising title IX in light of the devastation it has done to boys. But that is something these RINOS should love.

I suspect Hagel does not like new members to his country club either.

BTW has anyone noticed how many private clubs abound in DC?

Open response to Senator Hagel:

So, Chuck, you think Obama is qualified to be president, but Sarah is not qualified to be VP? What a sorry spokesman you are. Who paid you to offer this hit on Palin?
Just waht exactly qualifies Obama to lead?

Alright. Enough of this sh!+: Am I to believe that it is suddenly a requirement to have foreign service experience to become the Vice President of the United States????

- a "mere heartbeat away from the presidency" Besides the obvious B.S. about a lack of credibility as anything more than a "community organizer", does the MSM and the Demo-proxies REALLY expect me to bite off on that big old bite of South Side Chicago bull? If that's so, why was an obscure governor from Arkansas whose foreign service was limited to a “Tour of Duty” at Oxford magically so qualified?

Or part time Senator, part time book writer from Massachusetts?

Alaska is the only state in the country bordered by 2 nations. Inasmuch, Governor Palin HAS HAD TO become familiar with International trade law, politics and policy - a fact that is abundantly clear to her every time the Alaskan Air National Guard has to scramble interceptors over the Arctic Circle.

Why is this an issue?

Why hasn't McCain / Palin pointed the absurdity of this arguement out? RLTW

Why does anyone need a passport to explore the world when we have 57 beautiful states here at home to explore.

It’s a stretch to say he is qualified to be a Senator. In fact it is a great big stretch. How he ever got there is beyond any intelligent reasoning. Someone mentioned that he might be Obama’s running mate. Too bad he got beat out by another unqualified Senator. Where oh where do the voters find these idiots.

Can someone tell me how this person was ever allowed to run as a Republican? IMHO his views are clearly not even close to Conservative or even a moderate. He’s more liberal than some of the blue dog dems!
