Donald Trump, the flamboyant New York magnate, said on CNNs Larry King Live on Wednesday night that he is supporting Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for president.
Trump, never shy with his opinions, went on to say that McCain appears to be winning, and that Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) should have chosen Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) as his running mate.
I know John McCain, and John McCain's a great guy, a tremendous guy, Trump told King. I've known him for a long time. And I'm with him, and I'm with him based on the fact that I have great knowledge of John McCain. Also, this is not the right time for tax increases. And Obama wants to increase your taxes drastically.

‘Why do I keep getting the feeling that Hill and Bill are quietly convincing their high profile friends to endorse McCain?”
Perhaps! LOL!
I am kidding of course.
LOL!!!
Given the performance of the site, I think they've been trying it for months. Occasionally, like earlier this evening, they've succeeded in temporarily shutting down the voices of their opposition.
The first amendment only applies to liberals, you know....
Rove smacked down Colmes and called him dishonest. It was EXCELLENT.
When this reruns later tonight I will be putting it on my youtube channel.
That's my first guess. I thought it might be server problems but JR would have remedied it by now.
Ah libs, you gotta love 'em, they are so dumb that they think that attacking the site for a period of time will accomplish ... what? Do they think we'll all say, oh no, Free Republic is down, guess I'll just give up and vote for Obama!
These are not exactly bright people.
Every stinkin' school levy is presented as such - an URGENT need, no less. It's always an emergency when the government wants to rob you. Always!
I can proudly say that I've never voted in favor of any school levy.
I was impressed by Mrs. Rothschild on Greta. She was very well spoken. She needs to hit all the major political shows.
“She may be smarter than I gave her credit originally. “
My take is that she is very smart in terms of scheming, closed-door power games. Once she got in the white house, she would be very effective at accomplishing her own non-legislative goals. (a scary thought)
In terms of her public presentation, she is quite bad.
Not exactly a fan of the Trump, but this is substantial compared to Obama’s endorsement by Lindsay Lohan.
I think this is just the beginning of surprise endorsements for McCain/Palin.
Greta's lawyer husband, who had been a big Hillary supporter said in a recent interview - where he announced that he would be supporting and campaigning for McCain/Palin - that there were going to be more "surprise endorsements" ahead.
She also said at the end of the interview that she has told her friends and relatives they won't be seeing much of her as she is going to be on the road until November 5th. This lady is impressive in the time commitment she is giving to McCain and also is wonderfully articulate in common sense terms that any reasonable human being could understand in her support for him as the next president of the United States.
yes but our long term fiscal situation is not good. the baby boomers are about to retire and instead of fixing social security, bush expanded medicare.
True. She's also proven herself to be pretty good at making her enemy's life expectancy hit zero. Course that could be just idle rumors. =)
“Hillary lost this year and her last chance is 2012.”
Never thought I’d see Hillary lose (she didn’t either).
This has been a most interesting election year, hasn’t it?
I don't know about that, he may have the 12 and under vote wrapped up.
