Donald Trump, the flamboyant New York magnate, said on CNNs Larry King Live on Wednesday night that he is supporting Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for president.
Trump, never shy with his opinions, went on to say that McCain appears to be winning, and that Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) should have chosen Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) as his running mate.
I know John McCain, and John McCain's a great guy, a tremendous guy, Trump told King. I've known him for a long time. And I'm with him, and I'm with him based on the fact that I have great knowledge of John McCain. Also, this is not the right time for tax increases. And Obama wants to increase your taxes drastically.

This is great! (I think)
Thanks for the ping, sono.
As the US is holding an excessive tax load currently, the last few tax changes have demonstrated that raising taxes lowers income for the Govt, while lowering taxes spurs growth so that the tax revenue actually increases. Her is a good news report on Obmams Tax Plan Obamanomics
There are two issues: Tax RATE increases and Tax REVENUE increases. A tax RATE increase does not always result in Tax REVERNUE increases. The former can actually result in lower revenue.
When Bush lowered tax RATES do you think that resulted in lower REVENUES? No as you can determine by looking at gov. figures revenues increased.
But in any case we need to cut expenditures before any consideration of increasing rates. There are plenty of places to cut a billion here a billion there. Before you know it you are saving real money.
As a start cut any subsidies to Public Broadcasting, Legal Services, Section 8 housing subsidies, sell off Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, cut food stamps, cut/eliminate earmarks....
He is just confused about rates and revenues. And apparently unaware that expenditures are out of control.
Exactly! It's the spending that's the problem and taxing us to death won't solve that one bit.
Take a road trip down to NM. The Dems are going to steal that state one indian reservation at a time.
“Im kinda surprised about Trumps endorsement, because Ive seen Trump on a number of talk shows this year and he has really laid into George W. Bush.....big time. Glad to see hes come around.”
Maybe John Mac is NOT BUSH after all?
Well I’m glad he’s on our side too; because he did nothing but dump on Pres. Bush and VP Cheney the last 7 3/4 years! But yeah, I guess it’s good to have him with us. I wonder what changed his mind? He’s kind of flighty, politically speaking!
A thought the dems would like us to believe. So much of our tax money is wasted on things not required of government to do that there is NO WAY our taxes need raised. Spending needs cut drastically.
Romney Endorses Obama
You’ve got that right and I am similarly glad to hear about Trump’s endorsement. Trump was decidedly anti-W and his tone had become loudly pro-Dem in recent elections... which was a little odd considering that Trump’s apparent disgust with the GOP was over budgets and taxes (and the war). This is a pretty big shift back to the right for Trump and a pretty big endorsement.
Uh, no. That's Michelle, my belle.
And she's been locked in the cellar because she hates Hillary more than America; while Obama asks Bill for help.
Let's see what kind of "help" Bill provides:)
With all due respect to the Donald, I care as much about his endorsement of McCain as I do about Barbara Streisands’ endorsement of Obama.
They can both lick my hairy beanbag. I don’t care.
If wrinkly Barbara get near the family jewels, there will be trouble. Hopefully, Donald would pay one of his ex-wives to do the job for him.
Trump: Obama is wrong on raising taxes. He will create another Great Depression.
Thank you the Donald. Trump tells it like it is.
In 2012 she would have had 4 more years in the senate and a record of ZERO accomplishments.
This is a good thing. Thanks Donald!
