An example I transcribed, Obama says ‘ahhhhh’ so many times in what should be normal speaking, it’s hard to follow, and just as hard to read or get any understanding.
From;

http://www.mnf-iraq.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=21382&Itemid=163

Obama “The key purpose is to ahhhhh, ahhhhh, make sure we had a chance to talk to ahhhhh, some of the commanding officers as well as the Troops here ahhhhhh, to get a sense from them about ahhhhh, how we are approaching a consolidating some of the reduction in violence to ahhhhh, this here. ahhhhh, comparing note about what that means in Iraq and what that means in Afghanistan.”

These are vocalized pauses that denote that the speaker is not well trained in pubic speaking.

Contrast this with Sarah Palin who almost NEVER uses any vocalized pauses. Listen to Rush, Hannity and others. NEVER.

Honestly, can’t those fools in the audience see how he is embarrassing himself?
He is absolutely not ready for prime time.

And yet they’ll vote for him.

*sigh*

“Honestly, can’t those fools in the audience see how he is embarrassing himself?”

But he was the President of the Harvard law review (the most common bit parroted by moonbats trying to defending Obama’s qualifications)

Hahaha. So eloquent.
And have you noticed The Great Orator seems to like just a tinge of southern accent - closest to maybe a slight Carolina one? I guess it’s common to pick that up in the Ivy League...

All the 527s have to do is just run ads featuring Obama himself .
Nothing could be more powerful.
Maybe throw in Obama dancing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for comedic effect.

He is perhaps the worst candidate for president in the last hundred years. Seriously, this guy is stupid.

This tells you something about the voters.

All he has to do is promise to

“take care of” those who want security instead of freedom,

and keep abortion amoral.

That could be part of it. More commonly, however, I have seen, many times, well spoken and intelligent people that stutter and stammer into issues they are not prepared to discuss, are uncomfortable about, are unsure of what they are saying, or are trying to remember what fib they told about the subject before.

I work and negotiate with commercial contractors every day. You get to be good at reading the body language, eye movement, vocal cues and articulation of a person whose mouth gear engages before the brain gets involved.

Yes, I agree with you. I think some people consciously have a gift for public speaking, the rest of us work at it. I find it really intriguing that any politician at that level, speaks that way, knowing by know that everyone is criticizing you.

It shows me, as you say, that this guy is calculating what to say, and how to say it. There is definitely a disconnect there.

Anyone notice that during this financial crisis and meltdown of the past few days, Senator McCain went on various shows including CNBC to answer questions and give opinions on the situation. So did Joe Biden. But where was Barack Obama? Without his Teleprompter, he would be stumbling around like an idiot — and that would not have been good to see for prospective voters during this campaign season when the economy and the markets will be getting much attention.

I wasn’t pleased with McCain’s answers and appearance on CNBC but at least he went before the reporters and answered questions. Obama is afraid to without his precious telepropter. Keep an eye on this one.

Obama has to appear with his electronic cheat sheet because he has no idea what he is taliking about.

He is a fraud and a phony. Whats really remarkable is that this elitist arugula eating Marxist has the audacity to think we don’t notice.

What he knows is that those who you promise something for giving nothing, don’t care, even though after 8 years of Bill Clinton they still were left waiting and wanting. They will always be wanting and waiting. They are just foolish dumbies who think that they can live off the masses who work for a living.

The Obama supporters don’t even notice that their messiah is more comfortable with Hollywood elites than he would ever be with them.

re: But he was the President of the Harvard law review (the most common bit parroted by moonbats trying to defending Obama’s qualifications)

So, from what I can gather, this all important law review is simply a student publication with a an annual circulation of 8000 subscribers. Articles are selected by the student panel and published. Okay. Fine. But how does being on the panel qualify one to run the country? I don't get it.

Also, being on the review doesn't require that one be brilliant in the area of law. Since Obama is refusing to release his transcripts I have to wonder if the way he qualified to be on the panel was purely through affirmative action so that the Review could fill their quotas. From Wikepedia on the selection process (and by the way confirmed at the Harvard Law Review.org site):
“Using a competitive process that takes into account first-year grades, an editing exercise, and a written commentary on a court decision, The Harvard Law Review selects between 41 and 43 editors annually from the second-year Law School class, which numbers 560.

Two editors from each of first-year class's seven sections (fourteen in all) are selected half by their first year grades and half by their scores on the writing competition. Another twenty are selected solely on their scores on the writing competition. The other seven to nine are selected by a discretionary committee, either to fulfill the review’s race-based affirmative action program, to select students who just missed the cut by either of the other two processes, or by some other criteria as the committee sees fit.”
