Jeff Beatty takes aim at Senator John Kerry

Republican challenger Jeff Beatty took aim today at US Senator John F. Kerry, chiding him as an "elitist" who is "worried about becoming the secretary of state instead of worrying about the secretaries in our state."

The attack came less than 24 hours after Kerry shook off a primary challenge from Gloucester Lawyer Edward O'Reilly. Beatty, a counter-terrorism consultant and former CIA agent, reached out to the 31 percent of Democratic primary voters who cast ballots for O'Reilly

The results of the RAT primary in Mass indicates the extent of brain death rampant in that pathetic state.

I read estimates in one newspaper this morning that put turnout at 10%. That suggests that two types of voters turned out: hardcore moonbats and those choosing a democrat ballot simply to enjoy the opportunity to vote against John Kerry twice in one year (me).

There were also a lot of pro-Kerry mailings sent out to get voters to the polls, and Kerry had to actually...oh, the horror...campaign and mingle with commoners. I don't see the results as being all that much of a vote of confidence for F'n Kerry. I would love to see him lose in the general, or least suffer through another Ohio-like uncertainty.

Cool link. Thanks for that.

I did see something last week or perhaps further back indicating that dems outnumbered the unenrolled in Mass.

As I posted, I cannot recall the source.

Regardless, things are rather screwy in this State for sure.

Kerry will win. There aren’t enough functioning brain cells in MA to vote rationally and dump the worthless bag of crap.

The only reason to allow MA to continue to exist is the presence of Boston Children's Hospital Hemophilia Center.

There is a Woodcraft in Newington, NH, so the one in Wobern can rot, even if Norm Abrams visits it.

Trust you to turn an olive branch of agreement from me into yet another trash Romney post.

The state GOP is to blame only partially, if 70% of the people are so hideously leftist who in his right mind would think of running as a candidate or getting involved with GOP state politics.

There are certain zip codes in the country which will remain permanently leftists for the foreseeable future and all of MA is in that block.

The party exists on paper, but as an effective political organization, it’s dead. It’s very much like the sad, pathetic entities that existed in the Southern states after Reconstruction, and most especially after Jim Crow. After seeing the behavior of Weld and Slick Willard, I believe those two were quite literally trojan horse Democrat agents and inflicted fatal damage to the party from within. MA once was one of the premier GOP states in the country, and by the early ‘90s, the party was resurging after decades of decline since JFK... but now it’s all gone.

You know who I am. If you think I'm going to excuse his administering the "final solution" to the party he pledged to save (another Slick Willard lie), you're sadly mistaken. He and Weld both ensured the Republican party would no longer be a threat to the Democrat party. Weld purged the party of Conservatives, and Slick Willard delivered the death blow by making sure there'd be no viable leadership by the time he left office. Mission accomplished. We ought to thank God that trash didn't lie, cheat, and bribe his way onto the Presidential ticket. At least my prayers were answered that he was stopped, and that a 18+ months of my and others hard, yeoman work in raising awareness paid off.
