Newborn Baby Found Alive in Trash Can at Phoenix Middle School Wednesday, September 17, 2008

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating the discovery of a newborn found alive in a trash can at a Phoenix school.
Police said a school administrator discovered the baby boy screaming inside the garbage can Tuesday afternoon with his umbilical cord still attached.
The baby seemed to be in excellent condition. He also appeared to have been carried to full term, said Capt. Victor Rangel, a Phoenix Fire Department spokesman.

It’s beyond me why anyone would dump a baby in the trash she could have at least wrapped him up and left him in a church and no one would have been the wiser.

Yep, the Born Alive act which he personally opposed was designed to end the practice of putting babies into a utility closet to sit on a shelf to die (anywhere from 2 minutes to 8 hours for this to occur).

Not necessarily. Have you noticed the fashions for teens lately? You can hardly find anything that's not a 'baby-doll' top, which can easily hide a pregnancy. Our daughter, who is a Junior in college, went looking for some new clothes this year, and ended up in mostly T-shirts again, for casual wear, because just about everything in the store was either a baby-doll top, or had such a plunging neckline that it made her uncomfortable to wear it. Even SHE remarked that the tops looked like maternity wear!
I wouldn’t take it out on her parents. I’d take it out on the guy who got her pregnant and the culture that told her to go out and have sex (pop culture and the medical establishment push the sex positive agenda) at such a young age.

Funny, the child would qualify for HUD housing, welfare, WIC coupons, health care and an education...
