Lets try and stay positive regardless of what we see today. I have a feeling there might be a slight shift back to Bambi in the tracking polls. Most likely due to the financial "crisis" and the non-stop attacks against Gov Palin.
We have alot of work to do and lets stay the course!

Well, I’m not THAT fat.
The poll found McCain and Obama were in an absolute dead heat at 45 percent when independent candidate Ralph Nader and Libertarian Party candidate Bob Barr were added to the mix. Nader earned 2 percent and Barr 1 percent of the vote.
So Nader and Barr hurt Obama more than McCain.
Understand that the leftist media has to spin that the polls are close or are leaning McCain’s way. Obama has a lot of money to raise and can only do it if he is leading or close. If we look at all the other polls from 8 years ago you will see them close or the Dems leading. Deja vu all over again. We just need for conservatives to continue to volunteer and get out the vote. This will be another close election but McCain will win if conservatives get out and vote.

Polls, Schmolls. I don’t trust them, good or bad. They’re too easily manipulated by both the poller and pollee to be of any real worth.

It’s really simple. I honestly can’t even imagine Obama winning. In fact, I expect a significant McGovern-esque defeat of Obama. (Even though sometimes I wonder, and worry a little.)
Obama is a racist.
Obama is a Marxist.
Obama is a muslim sympathizer.
All of those things can be proven beyond reasonable doubt. If Americans elect this man as President, America will deserve the ills that will come her way. A country that will elect Barack Hussien Obama in a time of war with islamic extremists is a country that I don’t recognize, and a country bent on self destruction.

Condolences appreciated!! When GWB won the last election, one professor remained out of sight for a week. One of his staff said he was depressed and would not come out of his office! HA! What I have noticed this year is a few die hard dems saying they will vote Republican for the FIRST TIME EVER. So . . . I remain hopeful but alert!!

Panic over a Zogby poll?? I don’t understand the question. Rasmussen has McCain’s lead holding at 1% today. That would seem to indicate there has been no deterioration over the last couple of nights because of the financial situation. I think the race is holding steady and that McCain has a very slight lead going into the debates. We’re in good shape.

I have a prof-pal and his hope for the future is parents keeping their kids out of college! His own conservative raised children ended up totally brainwashed and had to be de-programed after graduating from the local MEGA-liberal university.
We need home schooling at university level!!

I pray you’re right. I think that if Obama does win it’ll be obvious what God has planned for America and the world. This from a friend’s email:

If McCain wins it’ll show God has mercy on America in spite of how far we’ve fallen from Him. (I think this will happen, considering Palin’s appearnce on the scene which seems to be a miracle.) But if Obama wins we can be pretty sure we’re winding down and we’re definitely in end times. Whomever wins, it’ll be in God’s plan.
All of these polls are unreliable. The only poll that matters is on November 4th.
