Lets try and stay positive regardless of what we see today. I have a feeling there might be a slight shift back to Bambi in the tracking polls. Most likely due to the financial "crisis" and the non-stop attacks against Gov Palin.
We have alot of work to do and lets stay the course!

The only poll that matters is on election day.
The entertaining polls will be after the first debate.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111111111
OMG OMG ZOMG!!!
They’re irrelevant anyways unti the Presidential debates start.
This site shows 2004 polls compared to actual results: http://www.electoral-vote.com
The only people that panic are those who aren’t doing anything for the election but sitting on their butts and reading polls. As if reporting them and reacting to them is a contribution.
We had these same people here in 2000, 2002, 2004 (they were hyper annoying then), 2006, and now.
We are Republicans, we are used to be being behind and attacked in the Media, a shift in a poll means very little to us.
I look at polls and add 4-7 points to McCain anyway
Over 3 point error of margin...statistical dead heat, just like when McCain’s ahead by 2...national polls this close, either with McCain or Obama ahead don’t mean much.
However, this poll was not influenced by the Wall Street meltdown this week (from the article): The poll, taken Thursday through Saturday, follows a hectic month in the race to the November 4 election as both parties held their nominating conventions and both candidates selected their vice presidential running mates.
We must keep in mind, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry were ALL leading in the polls in the run up to the election.
Oh great...now I have nothing to do.
I wasn’t aware I should be panicking.
Debates haven’t even happened, yet.
i said it was silly and that if we become too complacent people will stay home thinking we have this thing all wrapped up. we don't!
people around here need to stop saying that this race is over.
Oh great...now I have nothing to do.
LOL! I have to say that I am ALWAYS stressed about the polls and yep . . . sitting on my butt doing nothing but talking to everyone I can about WHY McCain/Palin is the best for this country. I work in academia so you KNOW I am in the midst of a battlefield every day.
Who’s panicking? McCain will win, Obama will lose. It’s a done deal. Obama was never going to win.
Everybody gets a temporary bump after a convention. Well unless you pick Biden. LOL
You should get hazard pay. You have my deepest condolences.
