I guess this makes sense, as a number of my ancestors lived in the Lone Star State.
A very pleasant good morning to everyone at the Canteen and toall our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, CONOR!!!!!!!
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
BTTT
The spices question is F’ed up L0L.
I am having chorizo burritos now. Main spice? Chiltepin pepper.
Oh, MAN, that sounds good!
I'm eating a turkey on wheat and some canteloupe slices from the chow hall. *sigh*
The only ‘Ike” issues here was most of the rain was hundreds of miles east of here. We are still under 9 inches of moisture for the year. But thanks for asking.
Rising earlier than normal now to make runs into the next earlier time zone. Have to work with local scale houses to move these commodities. In this instance, still irrigated alfalfa.
Thanks for helpng me say thank you to our troops here and there around the world. You help make the canteen rock, the troops help keep us on a roll.
For breakfast? ;)
Lunch. It's about 1:15 p.m. here. ;-)
Fair enough. Im having turkey sam for lunch here too today, but on them home made mexican rolls (toasted)
Wheat? That reminds me of an old joke.
2 farmers meet at a crossroad.....
Cyrus: how are you doing Ephram? Hows the corn?
Ephram: Im doing Ok, but I got problems with the corn.
The kids... they park in the corn...they are throwing out beercans, condoms, chewing gum wrappers....they are ruining the crop!
Cyrus: Thats a shame!
Ephram: Yes! Yes!!
How is your wheat?
Ephram: ......F'ed flat....
;)
It is for sure that all of TX does not need AC for 12 months.
No ketchup on a hamburger...well that’s just sacrilege. A burger should have beef, buffalo or some other edible meat not in “white meat” category, should be topped with cheddar cheese (preferably Vermont cheddar) and green chile (preferably Hatch) or bacon and ketchup (definitely NOT Hines) and mayo (unless you use green chile...mayo mucks it up).
And what they heck is a “Texian” calling a beefburger a hamburger anyways?
TO THE
Good morning, Everyone. Good morning
Thanks, Mrs. N, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
DC Metroland weather report

Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
And, for the rest of you ..
Now remember, the Canteen is
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS

Good Morning E.G.C. :)

I was born pretty damn close to the HOT. I don’t need no stinkin test to know how Texan I am.
I’m 110% Texan (see tagline)
“You only know five spices: salt, pepper, ketchup, bbq sauce, and Ranch dressing.”
Sounds like Arkansas to me!
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. How’s it going?
You only wear boots with jeans.
After you had a Texas breakfast taco, you’d be hooked. There’s nothing like that in Maryland, I’m quite sure.
