Thanks, MM...tomorrow is a mandatory safety meeting at noon, on the day we print checks and can't afford to lose that hour. No one cares. I will be coming to work at 7am to work that hour. Our deadline cannot be moved. They could not pick a worse day. Again, our protests fell on deaf ears. *sigh*

Only spent a few months in San Angelo but I loved it. Been to Dallas and Houston, Galveston and El Paso. Went to San Antonio only once, driving cross Texas on our way back to Good Buddy with a couple of Texans who couldn't find the Alamo or the river front. I've drove across Texas from east to west and west to east and down to Old Mexico to up to the Oklahoma. Never had a bad minute in the Lone Star state.

(Well....once when a buddy of mine got into a quarrel with some goat ropers at a pool hall in San Angelo. But he was from Oregon and I was from upstate NY. So I talked our way out of it.....told my friend to 'shut up....we're leaving'.)
