(CNN) Former Bush Secretary of State Colin Powell said Monday that he has not yet decided which candidate to back in this years presidential race.
The election of an African-American president would be electrifying, Powell told a George Washington University audience, but at the same time [I have to] make a judgment here on which would be best for America.
I have been watching both individuals, I know them both extremely well, and I have not decided who I am going to vote for. And I'm interested to see what the debates are going to be like because we have to get off of this lipstick on a pig stuff and get into issues, he said.

Former Bush Secretary of State Colin Powell said Monday that he has not yet decided which candidate to back in this years presidential race. What a shock. Deliberate on it for a few more years.
He as ponderous as Mario Cuomo.

Would he be all electrified if Obama wasn’t black?

I’m sorry but to have been Chairman of the JCS, Sec of State, etc. and not know who to support yet in this election is the wackiest thing I’ve heard. And it would be “electrifying” to elect someone based on skin color?
We are seriously poorly represented by those who have led us.

....would be electrifying....
He's right you know. Kind of like how peeing on an electric fence would also be electrifying.
I just don't recommend anyone be that stupid to find out.

Like Oprah, Powell is a racist. Both are drawn to Obama because of his color and race. That is a shame. Powell had previously burned many a bridges in the GOP with intentionally hiding and covering for Armitage, the leaker of Valerie Plame, from GW. Powell is now destroying his career like Oprah. Could not happen to two better losers.

Oh, an Obama win would be something; I just don’t think “electrifying” would be the word....

Uh, I don’t think anybody will decide to vote for or against Hussein or McCain based on what Powell decides.
This is media wishful thinking.
Powell is waiting, I think, to endorse Hussein...it’ll happen right before or after a debate for maximum media impact.
And America will yawn.

And to think there are some Freepers who wanted him as a Presidential candidate. Here's a man who isn't sure if a charismatic socialist is a good idea to lead America.
