Please note that this event is being held on the 25th anniversary of the Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut which killed 241 servicemen. Hezbollah carried out that attack. Hezbollah seeks to impose sharia on the "modern" country of Lebanon and has as its goal the establishment of an Islamic caliphate, which is one of the express objectives of sharia.

Everything about that religion is distasteful to me. Wish I could be more tolerant, but I'm out of patience in dealing with the 7th Century way of life.

Britain just gave five sharia courts full powers in the last few days. IMO, that is tantamount to surrendering to a system that is different than your own.
Why should nations like Britain pander to the demands for Muslim rule in their nation? It’s pure suicide and nothing less IMO.
Five courts today, 300 tomorrow. No way in hell!

NO! Absolutely not. There is not a shred of logic that supports implementing a barbaric, antiquated, religiously driven judicial system on ANY modern day state, anywhere.

Now that Sharia law applies in the caliphate's newest country: Britanistan(now they have to face Mecca during tea); it won't be long before they try to implement it here. I can see them arguing some twisted logic that this is allowed under the 1st amendment. Be aware America, once that happens owning dogs as pets, drinking beer, eating spare ribs, bacon and checking out chicks wearing bikinis will be forbidden under Sharia law. All porn will require that women are in burqas...goats can still be naked though.

How could you not embrace chopping off of heads for any number of 'crimes' to be determined by som cleric or mullah? What's wrong with women wrapped from head to toe and then stoned if they're raped? The beheading for a variety of sexual behaviors or music or TV or movies or dancing or drinking a beer? I especially like the get-out-of-hell-free card for blowing yourself up in a crowd of so-called infidels...
Seems like a reasonable system that does away with our out-dated Constitution and Bill of Rights...
What's not to love?
