In a word, no. If you want me to expound then, HELL NO!
Everything about that religion is distasteful to me. Wish I could be more tolerant, but I'm out of patience in dealing with the 7th Century way of life.
No.
See? That was easy!
No. Because a two-tier system of justice is not only discrimanatory but fundamentally unjust.
Britain just gave five sharia courts full powers in the last few days. IMO, that is tantamount to surrendering to a system that is different than your own.
Why should nations like Britain pander to the demands for Muslim rule in their nation? It’s pure suicide and nothing less IMO.
Five courts today, 300 tomorrow. No way in hell!
islam is a barbaric cult. The koran is at odds with Western Civilization as a whole.
Only if you consider hell to be a modern state.
Sharia in any modern state?
NO! Absolutely not. There is not a shred of logic that supports implementing a barbaric, antiquated, religiously driven judicial system on ANY modern day state, anywhere.
Islam is a cancer on humanity.
No.
Simple answer ... no. Why should there be? You want Sharia, stay in your own country.
Nope
Since the development of the industrial world there has been no instance of an economically success by a nation ruled by Sharia law. If you take away the oil weapon, as our leaders have failed to do the failure of Sharia law will immediately become apparent.
No. Never.
Mad Mo' was the first Community Organizer.
How could you not embrace chopping off hands for theft? How could you not embrace chopping off of heads for any number of 'crimes' to be determined by som cleric or mullah? What's wrong with women wrapped from head to toe and then stoned if they're raped? The beheading for a variety of sexual behaviors or music or TV or movies or dancing or drinking a beer? I especially like the get-out-of-hell-free card for blowing yourself up in a crowd of so-called infidels...
Seems like a reasonable system that does away with our out-dated Constitution and Bill of Rights...
What's not to love?
Sarcasm html tag is now off...
..Is there a role for Sharia in Modern States...

Oh DRAT, I thought someone was going to spell out the 57 states to me.
Maybe next time....
I wish Dan Quayle would have said something like that.
We would have had an answer by now....
What’s so modern about a 7th century murdering, child-molesting, illiterate, wife-beating cult?
The answer is still NO.
