Governor Palin Rally Golden Colorado After Action Report
September 15, 2008 | Bulletbobco

Well...I played hookie this morning and went to the Sarah Palin Rally this morning at the Westernaires Arena in Golden, Colorado. It was originally to be a pancake breakfast meeting, but due to the overwhelming demand the campaign ran out of tickets in the span of eight hours so the pancakes were tossed out. I had called ahead and I had tickets available at the "will call" booth at the arena. I left the house in Thornton at 5 AM and parked at the Colorado Mills Mall parking lot at 5:30. I then walked about a mile to the Arena. I have been to a few air shows and I figured, better to spend 20 minutes walking than an hour and a half idling in a car trying to get out of the venue. I went to the "will call" area and received my tickets. I was in the top 10% of the line and as the sun came up I started in through security and made my way to the front and found a nice nesting spot where I could see Governor Palin. Sarah's appearance was delayed as President Bush made an address to the nation and we had to wait for him to finish.

One thing that I noticed, was that during the warm up, they asked how many Democrats were here. The response was very loud.

Sarah came out and gave her speech. When she was finished, she came down to work the patriots. I was one of the first that she met and I asked her to sign my boonie hat. I gave her my marker and she signed my hat and asked if she could use the marker to sign someones ticket. I told her that she could keep the marker.

All in all, everyone had a great time and I think Obama is in trouble.

Thank you so much for sharing all the great pictures, and the report! I found it interesting about them asking how many Democrats were there. I’m just curious... with Golden being right “down the road” from Boulder, did any wackos show up, or were all of them “in class” today? LOL (Great, now you’ve got me picturing 93, and how beautiful the mountains are — I miss it so much!)

How about a head count (one we can trust and not from the MSM) on the crowd from a freeper(this way we know it will be as accurate as possible).

They were Secret Service. I spoke with them. They are very friendly, but firm. Check out my home page. They let me sit in President Bush’s limo when I was flying them around in the late 80s.

I guess the Obama rally today was in Grand Junction actually. Denver Post claims 4,000 in attendance.

Gaffe from Obama in Grand Junction: He called the Ute Indians the “You-Tay.”

When I was walking back to my car, there were about 12 Moonbats at the entrance with the usual McCain + Palin = War crap. I passed them and said "Hi...How are you?" and just kept moving on....thinking...."Losers!"

Obama blogger reports crowd of “about 4,000.”

No pictures of crowd. I’d guess 3,000 max.

“Her husband also looks like he’s having a great time.”

Her husband resembles the actor Gerard Butler who was in “P.S. I Love You” (with Hillary Swank)and “Nim’s Island” (with Jodie Foster).

Tall, rugged and very handsome.

Thanks for the report. One can never have too many pictures. Were you prepared for protesters or others that might try to make headlines by insulting Palin?
