Marsha is great and feisty too; she doesn’t let the host get away with Obama talking points.
Tell me more about Mary Mitchell.
MIL and husband are from Indiana...solid midwest. She always votes, attends church...even helped found and build a church in Columbus, In.
Her husband, now dead, was President of Baybanks in Massachusetts, now part of BankofAmerica.
I got her all upset when I launched into a rant about Massachusetts, Barney Frank and, of course, Ted Kennedy. I ranted why did Mass. keep electing these freaks...
Well she told me that decent people live in Mass. and you know what? I forgot I wasn’t on a Freep forum with folks of like mind. It really was improper of me to cast aspersions on the citizens of Mass., however true mind you, in her presence.
Although my husband will carry on bejeesus about Mass. and he lived there for 25 years.
Now I must worry about being cut out of the will. She already tole me that should she die, and my husband is dead when she dies, she will leave me something but NOT if I am remarried.
HEH.
You got to know that this something waaaaay down the bottom of my list but to all you fine fellows out there...we’re just gonna have to live together.
;)
“I mean, now THATs series journalism.”
How did the “series” and “hugh” spellings originate on Free Republic?
MIL told me she sat and watched the 20/20 interview of Palin and Gibson. She said that she wanted to scream every time Sarah said “Charlie”...which I think was a bit much myself, however minor.
So I did, yes I did, slid my glasses down my nose just like Charlie and pretended that she (mil) was Sarah Palin.
In my best imitation of that ugly anchor guy I kept those glasses down on my nose and pretended to ask MIL really stupid, lying and mis-phrased questions.
Charles Gibson would never, his teenaged pimple-faced self, ever have gotten a date with a Sarah Palin in his adolescent agony days. So he must slide his glasses down his nose haughtily and circle his foot during an interview, actions I thought were quite over the top and not at all actions of one with gravitas.
I did make her laff with my Gibson imitation.
Heh.
Jane Hamsher is another illiterate liberal that is able to shout over any conservative she comes up against, probably because she doesn’t let facts get in her way.
I’m drafting an email to C-SPAN right now. Their address is:

Brokaw shows Chuckie some terrible poll number for Barack and all Chuckie has got is that McCain and Palin don’t really represent change.
McCain beats Barack in how much you support your candidate.
Chuckie did not have the courage to appear WITH Rudy.
McCain beats Barack in how much you support your candidate.
Chuckie did not have the courage to appear WITH Rudy.
Brokaw is not the same Brokaw from 1995. that is for sure.
was she for Hillary before she was for Obama?
Maybe the PUMAs are your only hope?
try
http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net
They have a fantastic Obama archive over there full of stuff.
My personal favorite is their video clips of Obama flipping Hillary the bird.
An accident? An itch on his cheek?
But they were able to then find him doing the exact same thing for another audience. Same speech - same part of the speech (talking about Hillary) - the finger comes out again.
Punk - classless - unpresidential puke of a guy.
Watching FOX. Two on one as Walllace and Knowles team up against the AK Lt. Governor.
Brokaw is just letting Chuckie run the narrative.
He says Palin believes in cronyism. Wants to know if Palin is supporting Stevens.
Brings up Troopergate and lies. This is unbelievable. It’s as bad as Charlie Gibson.
Wants her to release her tax returns and brings up the per diems (although they are not taxable, he indicates that they are).
The video is available on YouTube if anyone wants to see it.
This wasn't too biased unlike Charlie Gibson's hatchet job.
I convinced a liberal ex from MA to vote Nader, since Gore would just win MA anyway so he might as well as do a protest vote. Do that with your MIL.
Wallace is trying to pin down the “Bridge to Nowhere” money/earmark issue. The Alaskan LT GOV is doing a good job defending Palin. The Obama supporter is working hard to diminish Palin’s contribution to earmark reform.
On to TrooperGate: Talking about the political witch hunt. Wallace tries to do a good job asking questions of both guests that are pretty fair, imho. It is now clear that the head of the investigation has jumped the shark claiming “October surprise”. Wallace brings that up, but doesn’t use the “jump the shark” comment, that is mine.
The LT GOV talks about Palin’s integrity and working hard for the people and she has an 80% approval rating and works hard for the Alaskan citizens and she will do the same for the country once she is VP.
A decent segment.
LOL, when I looked at the line ups ,my first though was “Ladies Day”!
Rudy trying to lure Bambi into joint town halls with McCain.
He cannot go there. He would be slaughtered.
SNOQ
Now that will confuse you..........
Does your mother-in-law still have a portrait of JFK on her wall?
LOL. Snoq to you too :)
Guys, don’t miss Rudy on MTP. He is just fantastic.
