MIL told me she sat and watched the 20/20 interview of Palin and Gibson. She said that she wanted to scream every time Sarah said “Charlie”...which I think was a bit much myself, however minor.
So I did, yes I did, slid my glasses down my nose just like Charlie and pretended that she (mil) was Sarah Palin.
In my best imitation of that ugly anchor guy I kept those glasses down on my nose and pretended to ask MIL really stupid, lying and mis-phrased questions.
Charles Gibson would never, his teenaged pimple-faced self, ever have gotten a date with a Sarah Palin in his adolescent agony days. So he must slide his glasses down his nose haughtily and circle his foot during an interview, actions I thought were quite over the top and not at all actions of one with gravitas.
I did make her laff with my Gibson imitation.

You will never convince someone 90 yrs old of anything and if she’s a braindead lib, thats that. I have a German next door that hates President Bush and was moaning about losing those boys in Iraq.
I asked her if we should have turned our backs on E. Germany as well? She didn’t have anything to say. The only thing to say to these people is that we Freed 50 million enslaved people and that is a undeniable.
