Lennon's amazing tape of lust for mum

JOHN LENNON fantasised about having sex with his mother Julia, according to a leaked audio diary which it is claimed he recorded a year before his death.

His widow YOKO ONO and BEATLES bandmate PAUL McCARTNEY are furious about forthcoming book John Lennon: The Life by Philip Norman, which makes the lurid accusation.

However on the tape - which you can listen to by clicking here- a voice alleged to be John’s can be heard noting: “I was just remembering the time I had my hand on my mother’s t*t in 1 Blomfield Road.

“It was when I was about 14.

“I took a day off school, I was always doing that and hanging out in her house.

“We were lying on the bed and I was thinking ‘I wonder if I should do anything else?’”

The audio – recorded on September 5 1979 – continues: “It was a strange moment, because I actually had the hots for some rather lower class female who lived on the other side of the road.

Mum ... Julia Lennon

“I always think that I should have done it. Presuming she would have allowed it.”

That’s a pretty stupid statement to make.

It must be contagious.

Guess what? Bad guys do bad stuff daily, good guys don’t.

What color is the sky on your planet, sunshine? I've seen some decent men (and women) do some horrific, selfish things. I've seen some "bad guys" commit noble and selfless acts. In man, God created an amazing creature. We have free will and make our own choices. God spoke animals into being, but he made us in His own image with His own hands, and breathed His breath into us. Read the epistles. We are accountable for what we choose to do?

Are you the kind of person that would do that? If not, then I guess God didn’t make you one of the bad guys, did He?

"Gee...if I am, it's not my fault. God knows what I'll do because he made me that way. Why would you stop me? After all, I would be doing God's will!" Things look very sad from your perspective, Stu.

Dylan was the best. He is under appreciated by the mainstream public and muzak airwaves that play the hits; when they play Dylan they typically go to Rainy Day Women or some other song the radio made a hit that is somewhat mediocre compared to his so many great songs; they should just dedicate him an hour or so a day and play songs in succession, he has so many good ones.

A really under appreciated songwriter was Leonard Cohen.

”Father, I needed you, you didn’t need me”

Brings on whole new meaning.

I don't think the voice on the tape is John Lennon’s.

I can't tell if your "right" is sarcastic or not. In case you think I'm kidding or wrong, here's the link to wikipedia, which references the Lennon communist manifesto quote: Imagine (song).

For a professional he was not a good singer; I wanted him to be good but he was, at best, mediocre. The power was always in his songs and that is what I think comes through. “Forget about the dead you left, they will not follow you.”

I guess those people weren’t completely decent or bad, huh? Maybe it’s not a black and white world we live in?

I believe we are accountable also...here on earth and according to the societal laws and rules that each of us live in, not after death.

So you’re as cool with that plague, as I am with you breaking into my house?

Sad? Hardly. As you say, it’s all in the person’s perspective, I call it relative...same thing.

Goint to lunch, will be back later.

How did this author get his hands on this tape? Twenty-eight years after his death a tape appears. I don't but it.

“...many of his songs (particularly, in my opinion, 1963-1966)were absolutely brilliant.”

In a bubble gum and candy, feel good, 2 minutes and 49 seconds long pop song that was good for radio play sort of way, yes. In the pantheon of music, not so much.

Music appreciation is a matter of personal preference. I love a lot of Lennon’s songs, but I know that many others don’t. To each his own. That being said, I concede that the Beatles could be labeled “bubble gum”, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the music. When it comes to British Invasion bands, I prefer the Kinks, who had a little harder edge.

I agree with you. I just don't enjoy mediocre muzak. I want the best, "searching for the sound" as it were.

“That song is about her”.

Sure, his mother was the “Julia” of the song, but the song is about Yoko. “Ocean child” is the English translation of “Yoko Ono”.

Maybe I’m getting inured to shock, but I don’t find this so terrible. Lots of teen boys have confused thoughts around that age. And Julia wasn’t a mother figure to him, she farmed him out for his Aunt Mimi to raise - John said that she was more a friend to him than a mum. His childhood, and her death when he was 18, definitely screwed him up though. Like all liberals, he had something to hide. I hope he rests in peace.

I remember reading an interview where he said the song was about his mother. Yoko was a mother figure to him, too.
