In a bubble gum and candy, feel good, 2 minutes and 49 seconds long pop song that was good for radio play sort of way, yes. In the pantheon of music, not so much.

Music appreciation is a matter of personal preference. I love a lot of Lennon’s songs, but I know that many others don’t. To each his own. That being said, I concede that the Beatles could be labeled “bubble gum”, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the music. When it comes to British Invasion bands, I prefer the Kinks, who had a little harder edge.

I agree with you. I just don't enjoy mediocre muzak. I want the best, "searching for the sound" as it were.
