The customer has always been listed in the salons appointment book as Sarah P. We would talk about pedicures and manicures and moose and politics, all while Sarah was having foils in her hair and holding my baby on her lap, said Jessica J. Steele, the owner of the Beehive Beauty Shop in Wasilla, Alaska, where Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican vice-presidential candidate, has visited over the last six years ...

Does anyone remember the NY Times publishing an article on Barack's hair? I've noticed lately that it has a little gray in it. I figured they were trying to make him look older...more experienced. Perhaps the Times will contact him this week.
Come to think of it, why hasn't the Times reported on Biden's hair plugs. I'd be real interested to hear about how that procedure is actually performed, whether or not it is painful, how much it time it took and what it cost.

I like your suggestion of the NY Times doing an article of Biden's hair plugs! They'll never do it, but it's fun to dream.

Jeez, people really read this stuff? You are absolutely right. Who would write a “fluff piece” like this about anyone in the Obama campaign? Why would they write one about Gov. Palin?

I noticed Zerobama’s hair turning grey as well...
Could be a severe case of Sarahnoia.

The day McCain announced Palin and the Democrat media backlash and crybabying began, I saw Sarah interviewed and somebody asked her (paraphrasing) if being attractive hindered her being taken seriously. Sarah replied, “I put my hair up and got these glasses to try to make myself look as frumpy as I could....”
It was hilarious!

They sure will!
Even though I thought the article was uncalled for, I thought it was sweet. It reminded me of the women in Steel Magnolias and how they supported and encouraged each other.

I love that bumper sticker! Is that your creation or can I get one somewhere?

I wonder if Sarah has ever blocked an international airport by having her plane sit on the tarmac while she gets her hair done?

I’m very pleased about how my letter to the editor turned out. I will publish it eventually on FR, but not until I know whether or not they will publish it (they don’t allow letters that have been sent or published elsewhere).
