Democrats desert Barack Obama and turn towards the Republicans
Jessica Goral had pretty much made up her mind two weeks ago: she was going to vote for Barack Obama. Then John McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running-mate.
She empowers a lot of women, said Mrs Goral, a mother of two in Macomb County a national bellwether in the battleground state of Michigan and an area rich in white, working-class swing voters who will play an important role in deciding the election in November.
I like that shes a brand new mother, and that she has the courage to stand behind her pregnant daughter. She relates to working women. For all of us who have children at home but have to go to work every day she has given us a sense that we can still do it and can be an excellent mum, she said. Sarah Palin is a role model. Shes made me more likely to vote Republican.
If Mr Obama should be in any doubt how gravely the vice-presidential nomination of the Governor of Alaska has imperilled his White House ambitions, then a day spent in Macomb County will make this clear: white women who voted for John Kerry in 2004 are suddenly deserting the Democratic Party.

The Damacrat Party getting its just deserts.
“Yes we can” is not a plan. People are starting to see that.
You mean, “the chickens are coming home to roost.”
These are the ‘Reagan Democrats’ coming home to the party. I welcome them.
Sarah’s common sense approach, her authenticity and her realness is very appealing, and she will bring out those traits in people with whom she strikes a common chord.
This is the core of my optimism about the election: that the right-minded folks will get out there and pull the lever for the right candidates, who will best represent their interests.
Barack: “Where de white women at?” =D
Macomb County is full of ‘Reagan Democrats,’ so this isn’t terribly surprising. But it’s a good sign nonetheless, especially since McCain’s selection of Palin is what prompted her to support the Republican ticket.
Great article! Obama is soooooooooo in trouble and I don’t think there is much his campaign can do to get the women back.
Anyone want to bet against the following assertions?
Jessica Goral has not had an abortion, and therefore has no need to justify it.
Jessica Goral has no need for socialism because she’s in a stable marriage.
“You mean, ‘the chickens are coming home to roost.’”
More like, “There never were any chickens. Only a chicken suit and a teleprompter.”
The feminazis are terrified and livid. Their evil lies and political motivations being are exposed for what they are with Palin. Women are attracted to the results and beauty of Palin's practice of righteous truth. Hearts are being changed by her example and when a great number of hearts are changed the laws will follow.
Even if Obama brings in Hillary, people are in love with Sarah Palin. She’s an all American woman where Hillary is a socialist that only believes in herself. What people are starting to realize is the the only socialist that makes good is those on top.

I have seen an unreleased poll saying Obama has a base support of 81%! THAT means this race is over. algore had 90% and lost. frenchie had 89% and lost.
Black Christians won’t vote for him.
Blue collar men and women won’t vote for him.
Working class white women won’t vote for him.
I’m better senior citizens won’t vote for him after the smart-ass computer ad.
Game over.
