Even Camille Paglia, a strong Obama supporter, is waxing rhapsodic over Sarah Palin. Paglia calls her “a new style of muscular American feminism”; a “brash ambassador from America’s pioneer past”; an “optimistic pragmatist like Ronald Reagan.” Following Palin’s GOP convention speech, I compared the governor to a Western pioneer version of Margaret Thatcher. I’m glad to see Paglia pick up on that.
You gotta love it.
I believe that if Obama goes with Hillary instead of Biden, it will kill the Democratic bid for the White House. For one thing, they hate each other, the other important part is that the country is done with the Clinton’s so called machine.
Love that phrase. Sarah's steady strength seems the perfect blend of love and principle.
Stand up, Chuck!
The Democrats are screwed. I just wish she were helping a real Republican get elected.
Thanks to the MSM's desire to try to find something, ANYTHING negative to run with about Sarah Palin, we've learned a LOT about her early years, her childhood friends, folks with whom she played basketball in high school, and people she's known for years as an adult, in Wasilla. We know a lot about John McCain, including his early life as a hell-raiser, and some of his friends attest to that. We've also heard from men with whom he served in the Navy, and men with whom he was imprisoned in Vietnam.
What do we REALLY know about Obama? Where are his childhood, or high school friends? Where are the people with whom he went to college, BEFORE law school? Where are the folks with whom he 'organized communities'? Why aren't we hearing about THEM, like we're hearing about Sarah's friends?
