It seems we ought to get back to issues now, don’t you think? Let’s not look like fools crazy-bent on disemboweling BHO... because at some point, it hurts McCain/Palin. Overreacting doesn’t help. McPalin is a far stronger ticket than O-Biden.
I really think we should get back to substance before we look too much like the other camp.
I think the Lipstick Comment was fine for A DAY. Then move-along. We should be showing our tough-skin and not our whiny-pants. If we keep beating that dead horse, folks will lose interest in our message. Let’s a have a message beyond gaffes... Hatred and vitriol are supposed to be characteristics of the other camp. Can we not be so vitriolic?
I think that the McCain campaign didn’t really even need to mention it. It was heard and reported everywhere. McCain would show as better statesmen if he didn’t dignify the attack/gaffe/whatever with a response. And Palin? She IS tough enough. (Cue Fabulous Thunderbirds)

I did to. I found it by luck searching for Ugly lies in a video. I yanked the audio and it was a perfect fit.
Certainly the race is about issues but there is nothing wrong with showing a flashlight on how utterly depraved the left is.
Also McCain Palin haven’t responded though they have used highlighting the attacks in fundraising. Emotions just as well as issues win elections. Obama’s problem is he is all emotion.
However, being a Chicago Machine politician, is he getting special preferences, as would seem probable, for his family or doing anything else that isn't above board? I think things of this sort are fair game.

We should never attack his children. It is not only below board but horrible. There are exceptions when the children are grown and the stories are real like Al Gore junior and his arrests. Making up outrageous lies suggesting Bristol or Willow were really the mothers of their brother is just ugly and the stuff they’ve been saying about Trig is just evil.
I’ll never attack a politicians children. I didn’t like it when people made fun of Chelsea Clinton. Adults who get their kicks attacking children are disgusting and should be ashamed.
