Let’s start with the obvious and inarguable: Of course Sen. Barack Obama’s comment about “lipstick on a pig” was a reference to Supergirl Sarah Palin.
You know it, I know it and the partisan crowd that literally rose to their feet and cheered when they heard it know it.
And it’s nothing new. Democrats shot the lipstick line at Gov. Palin on their official Web site last week with a posting entitled “McCain’s Selection of Palin is Lipstick on a Pig” - accompanied by what I’m sure was intended to be a flattering photo of the Alaska outdoorswoman.
And - coincidence or something more? - the same day Obama made his crack, a Democratic congressman introducing Joe Biden said of Sarah Palin, “There’s no way you can dress up her record, even with a lot of lipstick.”
If there was anyone in the audience still too dense to get it - say, an employee of CNN, perhaps - Obama immediately followed up with a reference to the McCain/Palin campaign wrapping “an old fish in a piece of paper called ‘change.’ ”
A lipstick-wearing pig and an old fish? Gee, who could he possibly be talking about?
So please, my Obama-supporting friends, let’s stop the nonsense about how Obama’s lipstick talk was, as he put it yesterday, an “innocent comment,” or that the reaction is “phony outrage.”

Obama directed every word of the Lipstick Speech at Sarah Palin.

I have yet to hear anyone in the media call it for what it was — a veiled smear. It’s as if everyone is afraid to say that phrase.
Obama did his best to brush it aside, the truth is not going anywhere.

I have yet to see any mainstream commentary regarding the fact that Obama lifted his speech/slam from a previously printed Washinton Post political cartoon by Tom Toles (ran Sep 5th)
Practically word for word. What does this tell us?
A) he meant it the way it was taken by his crowd.
B) his vaunted intellignece & judgement is a sham. Despite advance consideration, he went with it anyway.
Would love to see this angle discussed more.

Anyone yet asked him how much all his "free" programs are going to cost YOU? Besides free health for everyone, including millionaires...where's that money going to come from?
Anyone concerned about his plan to not ask for voluntary community service, but MANDANTORY for everyone, starting at middle school age - and going for years, with many months worth of hours that some, who must work to eat, need for jobs?
Anyone concerned about his plan to create a "National Police Force" that is "as big as the military, with just as much funding"? (The Constitution does not allow for a "National Police Force." We have our local police forces and our National Guards within our individual states. Only totalitarian REGIMES have "National Police Forces" to control the public.
Do we need a president that acts like the class clown, making nasty gestures behind the teachers back? The "class" (his audience) gets it and roars - in this video of him flipping off Hillary on national TV - just like they got his "innocent" lipstick on a pig remark. They got it, they laughed, cheered and gave him a standing ovation. But when the class clown gets called on it, he's all innocence.
Is this the kind of statesman we need dealing with World Leaders? "Words Matter"

Wussy men are afraid of REAL women
Right now, they are in panic mode. Biden is in a panic...they are now 'hinting" (trial ballooning) that Hillary would've maybe been the better VP pick - BIDEN said this yesterday on national TV. What to do?
With his mantra of "CHANGE" - Obama picks a 30+ years Washington insider as his VP?
Now they think maybe they should've picked Hillary. But if they change the ticket now = that's more chaos and a recognition of bad decision making. Talk about between a rock and a hard place. Then there's the question of would Hillary climb aboard the Titanic? Will she consider it a desparate last chance for her? She knows that a Palin win means no Pres. Hillary in the future. She also knows that to climb into a deck chair on the Titanic is pretty scarry too. But what else is the big meeting between Bill C and Obama about? She may have enough of an ego - or desperation - to climb aboard.
In addition, it looks like Biden is hitting the bottle again

The whole democratic primary campaign has been chaos. If this is how they manage a campaign, how will they run the country?

Oh, puh-leeze. This one is a loser; everybody knows that “putting lipstick on a pig” is a common expression for a lame attempt to disguise crappy substance behind appealing trappings.
If true, it blows his retcon out of the water. Can anyone find this? Cached on Google, maybe?
Yet everyone in the MSM (including O'Reilly) chalks it up to "tiredness" on Obama's part.
It's obvious Obama wasn't tired at all. He was simply having difficulty remembering his scripted lines.
But Brooks Jackson of factcheck.org last night told me on Greta’s show that it was not about Sarah Palin.
