“The [Obama] campaign is beginning to look like other campaigns,” said a former top strategist for past Democratic presidential campaigns, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

“Obama is struggling with working class whites just like John Kerry, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Michael Dukakis did, and Walter Mondale. He’s struggling with voters in the border-state South. And he’s struggling with an enormous wind at his back, a hatred for George Bush and a mainstream media that is little short of a chorus for his campaign.”

Think that is Pat Caddell?

Whoever it is, they are right on the money. To win in November, Obambi needs to attract more blue collar whites than what he has now.

So far, his efforts in that regard have been horrible. Lets hope they remain that way.

Deep-seated unease in the sense that the message has gotten away from them.”

Like they ever had a message at all, other than "change, change, change, hope, hope, hope, Bush's 3rd term, anyone who believes in limited government is a fascist, anybody who doesn't vote for Obama is a racist, sexist, homophobic, knuckledragging jingoist who wants to starve the poor, kill old people and destroy the earth."

What a bunch of gobbledygook.

It used to be traditional that Blue was the party in office and red was the challenger party. But in the first Presidential election in the age of the internet (2000), Republican became “Red States” and Democrat became “Blue States” because George W. Bush was the challenger party candidate. And it stuck.

We are seeing affirmative action on stage.

Also, Mrs. Clinton will need a food taster if she replaces Biden. And somebody to start her car. Mrs. Obama hates her that much.

Yeah. So much for his “executive” experience running a campaign. At this point it doesn’t look like he could run the corner hot dog stand.

Boxer and Pelosi make DiFi look both intelligent and centerist by comparison.

And that's a real sad statement.

Their 50-state strategy is insanity,” said Schoen.

Especially since they are neglecting the other 7

“Obambi needs to attract more blue collar whites than what he has now.”

He won’t do it by calling an attractive woman a pig.

“Here is Obama problem and the Dems problem in a nutshell. America is a center right country, Barack is a leftist. “

Due to the unpopularity of Bush, this was the Dems biggest opportunity since 1974-1976 to move the country left.

But Obama blew it. He’s simply unqualified to be President.
And he cant make the sale based on facts and experience and ideology. All he had was hype, and that bubble’s burst.

“ground operations in all 50 states?”

That’s was Howard Dean’s plan and operation. He asked that it be respected if he allowed Democratic party operations and coffers to be merged and taken over by Obama’s crew and moved to Chicago. They said yes. Dean idiotically believed them.

The dems blew it. They overreached to the left and came up with this marxist in cheap moderate clothing. Same ole, same ole.

In the event that Obama loses this election, is it certain that he would not go back to the well in 2012?

Would the Obama people simply surrender everything to the Clintons like the Gore and Kerry people eventually did, and like the Edwards people may be forced to?

"The thing voters likely remember most from the period is Obama’s July trip to Europe – a trip that prompted the McCain campaign’s focus on the issue of elitism and celebrity and which some campaign officials now privately acknowledge was a mistake. "

Bingo.

Along with "bitter" comments. He's been sliding and off his game ever since.

” This guy is naive. He really believed Obama and the Chitown Crew meant it when they said they would play a 50 state strategy. This was a bald-faced ruse to allay the Dem establishment to turn over party coffers and controls and move them to Chicago.

In one month’s time there will be emerging stories of Democrat office seekers complaining they are not getting fair shares of party funds for their own campaigns. “

I wouldnt underestimate the hubris and folly of the Obama campaign. they thought a huge rally in Berlin was a good use of time and money then hadnt the time, after Obama’s Berlin shopping, to visit the troops (so long as no cameras were there).

That right there destroyed Obama’s foreign tour bounce.

Palin clearly moved that to be change or reform, versus change

Hah. Change vs reform, that's a no-brainer. McCain should quote Trippi in an ad.
