Okay, but after that, he should get the first nomination on the Supreme Court. As a former Senator, he’ll get through the senate with a lot less trouble than most, and he’s damn sure made it clear that he understands the constitution. Yep, he’s older than one would like, but if we’ve got a rodent infested senate, it’s a good way to go.
Plus, it would be a great end to the truly American story that is his life.

Though it is vital to ensure that the nominees understand that their job is to enforce the Constitution, not rewrite it, it would be a great mistake to give up the advantage of appointing young Supreme Court Justices.

I truly do hope that McCain does NOT offer any Cabinet post to any Independants or Dimorats. Especially NOT after all the nasty things they have all said about Sarah.
