Folks,
First, thanks to all who tuned in and to those who received my (wrong) update about the (wrong) time and waited until later to tune in and missed me. Sorry, that's TV. I didn't know my time had been moved back to 6:45 until I got to New York.
Second, "Fox and Friends" apparently really enjoyed the discussion and wanted more. So I'm going on, remote from Dayton but LIVE, on Friday, Sept. 12, and the time they gave me is 7:45. We don't have a lot of play, as they are sending a car for me, so I think this is a reliable time.
Finally, I taped the last segment with Sean Hannity for my appearance on "Hannity's America," slated for Sept. 14. They warned that hot election coverage could bump the show, but as of now expect it to air. This is a good 20-minute segment!
How do you know it’s him? (My name isn’t really Soliton)
FReeper etiquette requires that a FReeper be pinged to a post or thread mentioning him. Sorry about that.
OK, make that someone posts under the name Larry Sinclair who claims to be him.
Noooooooo. No author ever wants to hear the word “library.”
It was so good with just Steve and you. He never interrupts.
In my own defense, however, you have to have some timing---to know how long to make your comments, when to shut up, and above all, to provide some clever, memorable lines (hence the "pregnancy test.")
I wasn't trying to be smart, but we never really know who is posting.
Can’t argue with you there....
did you go to chandler high? (i live in chandler and a valley native)
thank you
Yep. Graduated 1968. Chandler was still pop. 12,000 then.
Great tip, thanks. It will save me a lot of time.
Whoa! Louisville. That’s a haul. I’m not worth it.
LOL. My wife got on me for that phrase. “That kind of offended me.” I said, “This is something people remember. It’s a grabber.”
It is a grabber, I told my husband about it. He had to leave before you were on.
I’m used to the drive - no big deal...family is still up there and I visit them a lot. Not a problem. Hope to see you there!!
as a native az, i think that it’s rather sad how large it’s grown.
chandler now has around 200K+, 35K schoolkids, and that’s just the chandler district, not counting the kids that go to kyrene and tempe unified.
used to be able to see “four peaks” all the time. very rarely a pollution alert.
i remember when i was in cheer (at another school), we rode the bus down to chandler high. that’s when there actually was separations between the towns. going along country club, miles of corn fields, still sheep grazing... ah, the good old days.
He is on Fox & Friends RIGHT NOW...
Well, he was - they just wrapped up his segment.
Great job LS!!!
Just saw it. Excellent. And he has the history book thingy distilled down to a succinct phrase. Check the chapter on Reagan. You can find out all you need right there.
