This is what you get with Nationalized Medicine. Everything is viewed as a Cost-Benefit analysis, and a doctor’s ethics don’t really count for much.
ie - The government should decide if non perfect human embryos are viable.
We can only hope.
The real, albeit unspoken, position of the left is that in cases like this there should be no "right to choose." The believe the child must be aborted for the good of society.
Palin, brings out the dark and sick underbelly of the Left.
Like a previous poster, I had to wonder if this was satire.
Sarah Palin, if nothing else has exposed the pro-choice movement to millions of Americans who may not have paid attention in the past. They are not pro-choice, as we have known for years. They are pro-death.
Couple this with Fowler’s statement from earlier, and you have an accurate picture of the pro-choice movement.

Obviously, “choice” is NOT intended to mean freedom to choose life for the baby. Probably they worry about health care money being used for these worthless human beings.

Because it is politically incorrect, doctors never address the spiritual and emotional damage done by having an abortion.
I’ve met too many women who are damaged souls after their abortions. You can see the dark cloud over them. When they start to talk to you on a personal level, their voice gets low and they hesitate over their words. And you can see the grief in them. No, they’ll never convince me that having an abortion is the easy way out.
I have a strong opinion, that many of the women commentators on TV who are totally unhinged by Palin have had abortions, and are leading unhappy, unfulfilled lives.
Sarah is happy with what they threw away. It makes them bitter and angry.
Guess this will cut into their income. Down’s individuals are so kind, open and sweet how sad they are inconvenient for liberals! They bring a lot of joy to families.

Liberals won’t be against abortion until the day that the socialist/gay gene is isolated.
I’ll bet that within 5 years libs introduce legislation making it illegal to test a fetus for homosexuality.

Why is it any business of Canadian doctors what American women do in regard to abortion? They need to butt out and keep their yappers shut.

Looks to me that they would like to take away a woman’s right to choose.
It is the slippery slope, a woman’s right to choose morphs into a doctor’s “superior” right to choose for the poor, uninformed woman.
