PHOENIX -- The fastest-growing gang in the world is coming to Arizona -- a trend that makes federal agents along the U.S.-Mexico border uncomfortable.
Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, is known for its violence and guerilla warfare training, experts said.
"From Oct. 1 until the end of July we've seen over 50 different people involved in not only MS-13, but a number of different gangs affiliated with them," Scioli said. "Just in the past week we've had five."
According to law enforcement personnel, MS-13 members come to Arizona because its position on the border makes it a hot spot for drugs and human smuggling.
Though many MS-13 members are caught crossing the border illegally, some do make it to the Valley.
"They're everywhere," said Maricopa County Sheriff's Deputy John Hansen. "They should worry about them. These guys are not just in the slums; they're in every neighborhood. You can find them from Apache Junction all the way to West Phoenix and everywhere in between."
Border agents are not the only people who are cautious about the gang; illegal immigrants also fear MS-13. Ariel Vasquez, a man who crossed the border illegally, said it is the most dangerous gang on the streets.
"They are very organized," Vasquez told 5 Investigates through a translator. "They have spread all over the United States and Mexico and Central America."
Back on the border, agents try to keep the gang members from crossing into the U.S.
"You always keep that in the back of your head," Scioli said. "One of these guys could be part of that group."
"They're pretty ruthless," said Agent Mike Scioli of the U.S. Border Patrol. "And killing somebody means nothing to them."
MS-13 comes from El Salvador, with an estimated 100,000 members throughout Latin American and the U.S., but gang members are crossing the border in greater numbers.

Well, he supported McCain/Kennedy which put even gang member criminals on a ‘path to citizeship’, so I’d have to assume his plan is just that stupid.

I doubt anything will be done to stop them until they invade the neighborhoods of our worthless politicians. The more I read about the mess caused by illegal immigration the more I despise the idiots who run our government.

I’m having a hard time believing that they haven’t been in Arizona up til this time. They are all over the country. Wherever you have hispanic boys in gangs, MS13 is going to be involved. And even MS13 tithes to the Mexican Mafia - who runs the hispanics in prison across the country.
MS13 is an international threat and has been tied to islamic terrorists being smuggled into the U.S. They should be targetted by the Feds like ‘militias’ were in the 1990s. You’ll notice that there are no more militias now because the FBI infiltrated or harrassed everybody involved in one and they were harried and bullied into extinction. (While, at the same time, Al Qaeda was bombing the WTC and planning other domestic terrorist attacks. Clinton didn’t care about them because they weren’t Republicans.)
Yep. A couple years back we were treated to images of our elected elite running from the capitol in terror because a small plane strayed too close. Yet when we have millions of unknowns sneaking across the border doing God knows what, they can barely muster a yawn.
EVERY occasion of police contact with KNOWN members of MS13, should initiate a speedy trial as a terrorist — and when found guilty — IMMEDIATE execution...or life in prison in his country of origin....
After a few dozens of executions — the message would be delivered.....
America is not to be trifled with.....
To date - our liberal criminal and immigration practices have made us the World’s most targeted SUCKER.

Border Patrol Agents don't fear MS-13. Agents fear the US Government because of it's nasty habit of suspending, firing and prosecuting Agents for doing their job.
Tell me the difference between gang x that mows down a group of people standing in a neighborhood or intersection, and the MS13 cockroaches?

Obviously, Jorge Boosh is not committed to winning the war on terror. Not securing the border, letting main military suppliers move HQ to petro-terrorist states, and allowing Afghanistan to fester shows a lack of committment from Boosh
