Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.

"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."

"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."

"We've had enough of the same old thing."

The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."

Regarding your remarks, I agree that Hillary would have been tougher to beat. As for overlooking how banal BO is, it goes with the territory. McCain’s humorous campaign has had a clean side to it which is very appealing. Things might turn ugly, but hindsight is almost always more clear than our present awareness.

I’m a minority while waving his finger. I know that is what you heard, you are wrong this is what i thought i said. Notice how many I(s) are in most of his speeches.
