New RCP Average is McCain up 3.2%
CNN doing their part to artificially prop up Obama.
CNN doing their best to keep this race close.
Include about 5 pts for manifest CNN bias in the structure of the poll, and 8-9 pts for the Bradley effect, and I’d say that Osamabama and Bidet are burnt toast.
So, its a poll of “adults” rather than registered voters, or likely voters, is that right? (i’m too lazy to click on the link)
just “adults”?
Not “registered” or “likely”?
hmmmmm.
You know it’s bad for the left when their Messiah can only pull even on the news channels they control...
Registered voters - add another 3-5 points to McCain for Likely Voters...
“adult Americans”?! What happened to at least registered or likely voters?
I see this as verification for the McCain lead in every other poll.
Full text of CNN’s poll question:
In a fictitious election, who would you rather vote for:
1). Obama/Jesus
2). Hitler/McCain
The poll is of "adults" and was conducted over the weekend. Two things that always skew heavily in favor of the dem candidate.
Polls are most often done using adults, registered voters, and likely voters. The most accurate historically have been likely voters; voters that are registered and say that they will vote (that is why the Gallop numbers of +10 are hugh). A poll of "adults" does not even know if these are registered voters. Not surprisingly, this sampling method produces the least accurate results.
Remember: adults < registered voters < likely voters.
If CNN is posting these numbers publicly, then the internal Democrat headquarters numbers must be horrendous.
“Landslide”, anybody? How do those numbers start to affect the potential outcome of any number of Congressional and Senate races?
Sarah Palin’s runnng mate might do all right.
And, Obama is in serious trouble in Michigan and his supporter and buddy the mayor of Detroit is going to prison.
If he has to put extra $$ resources into his blue states, he has a very uphill climb.
This is ADULTS only, not registered or even likely voters, so definitely good news to have a tie.
Works real well in the Electoral College.
wouldn’t it be amazing if some of these Senate races started drifting back our way too? I don’t dare to dream it.
thanks.
