Do not get cocky. We still have a lot of work to do. That is what exactly Sarah would tell us.
I prefer a song that im sure Sarah probably shot hoops to in High School.

Obama’s only card were his big speeches in front of the teleprompter. The DNC is over, his VP is a dud...he has nothing left.

McCain was already up on Intrade today, and there hasn't been much further rise with the release of this poll.
McCain up by 10% on Obama in the latest Gallup poll, but still down more than 10% to Obama on Intrade.

Premature Obamaculation. Heh ... now, that's one I haven't seen. A keeper for the dictionary of US campaign slang.

If Baghdad Bob had only survived the war, I’m sure he would’ve wanted to work for Barack Unabama.

Hmmm, is the media trying to lull Republicans into complaceny. Ahh, the old "show the opponents up 10 points to lull them into complacency" ploy!

And Thank You GOD! And thanks for Sarah and John having the brains to pick her.
We will have to keep fighting until it’s over - no time to relax.

Yep, same old tax and spend but even worse. The change mantel went out the window when the Biden baggage was loaded on the ticket. If Obama had chosen a ‘Sarah Palin’, it would have been much much tougher for McCain -— Even Hillary would have loaded the ticket with same old same old Washington.
Now we have real change with McCain - Pailn.
Don't you love it when a plan comes together ...
So why didn't Obama do the ‘Sarah Palin’ thing, well every one knows you have to have someone on the ticket that knows what they are doing. Change is not a destination, and hope is not a strategy.

I know we were talking about this at work and all the libs were gloating over how many people tuned in to see Obama at Invesco. I told them that perhaps everybody tuned in to see if there really was anything to all the hype about Obama. I told them that the speech really wasn't that good and perhaps having so many people see it may not turn out to be so good.
Friday afternoon, we rejoined by the coffee machine and I told them:
HISTORY WILL SHOW THAT OBAMA LOST THE ELECTION ON THURSDAY NIGHT AND JOHN MCCAIN WON THE ELECTION ON FRIDAY MORNING.
(The choice of Gov. Palin as VP will go down in history as a stroke of genius).
To: Cyropaedia
I'm sure the Obama's internal polling told him the same thing. This is why he's been so off his game and talking about his "Muslim faith". The Obama people know the election is effectively over. That is the only reason they would risk the furious backlash from an all-out trashing of Sarah Palin. They are lashing out like a desperate and besieged dying animal.
I also believe his fundraising is drying up while McCain's is going like gangbusters. Obama's campaign has been going through money like water and he might end up broke long before November 4th.
