The President returned from Camp David on Saturday and hosted a Tee Ball game on Sunday.
The Vice President concluded his overseas trip with meetings in Italy on Saturday and Sunday and has now boarded AF2 for what I presume is the flight back to the US.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice ended on Sunday a three-day visit to North Africa, including Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco
Pray for President Bush - Day - 2916 & McCain/Palin - Day - 10
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
Indeed he will
Indeed they have and the events of the last few days seem to show if a Republican is elected next time nothing will change in that respect
Love the amount of interest/cheer/support the entire Bush & Hager Fams are giving to the T-ball youngsters!
Looks like Jay & Barbara were prepping for a lip lock there.
:)
Not just gazing at eacother!!
snugs: THANKS SO MUCH for posting today’s DOSE! Doesn’t the President know that we’re ‘looking for some leg’? — he’s got to stop hiding behind his SUVs (and Washington Redskin coaches)!

TEE BALL ON THE SOUTH LAWN: A SALUTE TO THE TROOPS
In 2001, President Bush launched Tee Ball on the South Lawn to encourage fitness among Americas youth and promote our national pastime to people of all ages. Today, after eight great seasons, the President is hosting the 20th and final game of his presidency. (snif!)

WHILE NO ONE’S PAYING ATTENTION, THE PRESIDENT CONTINUES TO REMAKE THE WORLD FOR THE BETTER . . .
PM MAY VISIT WASHINGTON TO THANK BUSH
President Bush and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh welcomed the “historic achievement” of a landmark civilian nuclear agreement that will enable cooperation between the two countries and also allow India to undertake nuclear trade with the rest of the world.
The two leaders spoke on telephone soon after the NSG waiver in Vienna, the White House said.
“They congratulated each other on the consensus reached at the Nuclear Suppliers Group meeting in Vienna and expressed appreciation for the joint efforts made there to move forward with civil nuclear cooperation between the United States and India,” spokesman Gordon Johndroe said, adding, “This is a historic achievement that strengthens global nonproliferation principals while assisting India to meet its energy requirements in an environmentally friendly manner.”

The President, the First Lady, the twins, the ‘boys’, General Pace . . . it just doesn’t get any better than this!!
[These photos make it VERY clear why the President is able to withstand the constant criticism/hate: In addition to his faith, the President has an AMAZING family and a bilzillion friends (to include soooooooooooo many of our military heroes) — and it certainly looks as though he is going to have another ‘son’ VERY soon!!!]
Another thing you would have thought regardless of it being a flag or ticket or leaflet/program whatever they would have wanted it as a souvenir of a historic event or in event of Obama being elected as something that could well be worth money in the future.
Not sure whom tis You are addressing. But if tis meant for me I’ll happily explain my comments.
My guess is though You meant that for the removed comment...whatever/whomever that was.
Evenin’ snugs!
Glad to hear the classy/wonderful Condi is back home again.
Cheney is looking fit as ever. Thank God.
W looks happy to be at the game with all those cute little tikes. :)
& W’s daughter’s look beautiful still.
Bush's achievements in regards to our relationship with India, the world's largest democracy, are historic. From India to Africa, the Pacific Rim to the Middle East, Bush has used American power to dramatically reshape the geopolitical landscape. It is one of the most ignored stories of his presidency. This is not Bushbot fan boy puffery. It is historical fact: Bush is truly a transformational leader on the stage of world history. History will be the ultimate judge, obviously, of the success or failure of his record. No matter the ultimate result, history will never fairly be able to dismiss that record as insignificant.
I couldn’t agree more with your analysis!
The past 2 terms have been a long, hard road for Bush. He really has aged. I wonder when’s the last time he has even been able to sleep well.
#1 ... SO precious. God bless him.
He can’t wait to be a Gramp.
Thanks SO VERY much, snugs, for all
your wonderful, hard work for us.
We treasure you and the dear FRiend
you are ... ;)
What a gorgeous place, Lake Como ... aahhhh to see it in person.
Could not agree more!
His savvy and vision at knowing which to
select, and encouraging and facilitating
close relationships with strong new allies
in the far reaches of the globe for our
safety and benefit will mark him as truly
great .. in the books written by honest
historians.
When I grew up, I ALWAYS LOVED the fashion, furniture, cars, designs--no matter what the subject, that came out of Italy.
Before my Mom died (she was REALLY into genealogy--had her side traced back to 1066) she told me that we had an eyelash that was Italian. According to her records, our relative married his second wife in Milan in 1377. He was a great warrior for Italy (paid warrior - he was English). They have a monument to him in Italy. His first wife gave birth to the lineage of Bush, Cheney, and Kerry ...and we came from his second wife (the Italian ;-)
That did it for me...I really want to see/experience the place now.
Probably more than you wanted to know, but I thought I'd share.
Hope you had a nice weekend.
I sure hope an HONEST historian will write W’s story. He will certainly be missed. This is sad and exciting (with Sarah being on the world stage now) all at once.
Hi Lynne .. what a fascinating ancestry you have.
Lake Como is drool-alicious. I used to be interested
in the fact that George Clooney has his villa there ..
I no longer am ... LOL.
Yeah...I know how you feel. I used to really like Kevin Costner...when he was FOR the Bush’s with poppy. These jerks wouldn’t know how to handle 1/10th of the schedule/issues W has to deal with ...AND under the MSM scrutiny he has to, as well. W is remarkable!
