Of which Stephanopolous carried the water and corrected him by saying "Christian faith".
I think this is a VERY telling freudian slip by Barrack.
Yes, I’m just airing it out for the thread. I often had posted to folks that it was wrong to call Obama a muslim. And technically I still do.
But I see his socialist “realism” for what it is and how it ties back to his muslim past.
And who can say how much of that is gone. Obviously, it isn’t completely gone.

This could only really be effective, in my opinion, with a 527 using it, not as a serious accusation that he may be hiding his true faith, but more as a light-hearted jest, ridiculing his defensiveness. It would be difficult to pull off, and in my opinion not worth the time, money, and effort to try. There are far better ways to poke some fun at this gasbag than this...

It is the job of his comrades in the MSMedia to give him benefit of the doubt. It is the job Freepers (who choose to do so) to make sure America hears things like this. No Conservative would be given benefit of the doubt by the media.

Don’t think McCain standing up for Palin isn’t lost on the Hilary crowd. The DNC remained silent while Obama played the race card and subtly used sexism. The RNC all rallied to defend Palin.
as for this gaffe, on its own, its fairly trivial. But coupled with yesterday’s “I’m President” gaffe, and Biden’s high gaffe probablity, they will accumulate on an almost daily basis. When taken as a total, someone will put out a ‘best of’ tape, that will make Obama look unqualified and inexperienced - not ready to lead.

Yes. I noticed the exact same thing. It seemed to have become more pronounced after Sarah Palin stormed onto the scene. Its really sort of creepy.

BUT then we try’s to explain away his statement afterward, he says he was only responding to the fact...THAT HE WAS ATTACKED FOR BEING A MUSLIM and it sounded like he was referring to McCain.
He was unbearably petulant with O'Reilly, (who is admittedly no better at times), the childish "do not, do too" exchange -- if that is how he plans to conduct discussions on foreign policy matters with other heads-of-state, well ... I hope the American people are getting a good look/listen right now.
I have yet to meet the Christian who accidentally references himself as a Muslim.
There is a difference between saying “the Muslim Faith” and “My Muslim Faith”.
