"Barack Obamas suggestion that the McCain campaign is somehow trying to paint him with Muslim connections is false, and a cynical attempt to play the victim," Rick Davis, Sen. John McCain's campaign manager, said today. "Weve seen Barack Obama use these tactics before -- and theyre just as offensive and wrong as they were the last time."
Davis was referring to comments Obama made Friday in Duryea, Pa., in which the Democrat said that Republicans, "when they say, 'This isnt about issues, its about personalities,' what theyre really saying is, 'Were going to try to scare people about Barack. So were going to say that you know, maybe hes got Muslim connections or were going to say that, you know, he hangs out with radicals or hes not patriotic.'"
Davis -- whose campaign has spent much of the last week complaining about bias in the media and sexism against vice president candidate Gov. Sarah Palin -- continued railing against Obama's vaguely-sourced claims of victimhood, saying, "Barack Obama said he was different. He promised a new politics of hope and change. Is this what that politics looks like? "This week, Gov. [Sarah] Palin said there are two kinds of candidates: those who use change to promote their careers, and those who use their careers to promote change. With each new cynical attack, its increasingly clear which kind Sen. Obama really is."
It seems as if Rick Davis has a lot of Karl Rove in him. He hits a bullseye on almost every retort.
Well let me see: we’ve got two candidates, one named “John,” the other named “Barack Hussein.”
If you had to guess which one might have muslim connections, who do you suppose that might be?
RIGHT ON! Obama LOVES to play that role. He gets all the “poor me” votes that way...
If the burka fits...
Poor little Obamadon, crying during Ramadan..... He always thinks people are being mean to him. He needs to grow the you know what up
Note to Barry - No one wants a professional victim as a president, ya putz.
Right On! Don’t let Obama define the issues. Hes trying to use the same tactics as he did on Hillary. Don’t let him get away with it. Hillary treated him with Kid Gloves so she would not be called a racist—he used the race card on her husband anyway. You can call Bill Clinton many things but racist isn’t one of them. Bring out the iron fist!
The little, cowardly college-campus-communist crying in his Cork Flakes AGAIN.....no racism this time? He is slipping.
Poor little Obamadon, along with the poor ObamacRATS.
His father was a Muslim so in the eyes of the Islamic world that makes him a Muslim. Of course after learning about his Hate American First church with Jeremiah Wright presiding we know what he is not.

I have given him that new name. For now on i will always address him as Obamadon
WTF! What happened to that guy who was around a couple of months ago that was supposed to be Obama's real half brothers? That guy said "hell yeah BO's a muzzie! We were both raised as muslims".
Oh yeah! He's probably under the bus!

All that is necessary to scare people about a Bambi administration is for him to open his mouth.
I wonder how much of a part he played in bringing us Ms Sara Palin?
Score!
Really, Barack, you are going to have to do better than that. Conservatives don't usually crawl into a corner when someone starts raising the specter that we're intolerant of different races, sexes, or religious affiliations. Moderates do, but conservatives do not.
So what's wrong with them telling the truth? You must know it is the truth since you are bringing it up yourself first to head them off. Let's start with, "Don't you hang out with radicals?"
I’m surprised he’s still using this ploy. He’s been smacked down about it before. It becomes more obvious each day that this guy hasn’t got all his marbles.
