The Bogus Flag Story (CBS Buys into DNC Spin Without Seeing The "Other" Pics)

It seems Fox News and some far-right blogs are excited about the latest in a series of lies from the McCain campaign -- the notion that thousands of American flags from the Democratic convention were going to be thrown away.

Like far too many of the stories pushed by the McCain campaign, and embraced by Fox News and far-right blogs, it's not true.

It would be nice to know when the picture of the bags in the CBS were taken. Could this be a picture before the convention started?

I agree. To me the photo of the "neat" flags from the garbage bags was a picture taken before the event, before the flags were handed out. The reason I think this way is because they are bundled too uniformly and neatly, like they just came from a factory run. The other pictures, showing them in bags along with other trash, are the after event pictures.

IS Benin a CBS employee or a poster on a CBS blog? It sounds more like the rantings of a DUer than even an MSM flake.

Didn’t fox show film of vets and Boy Scouts gathering the flags in CO? Seems to me there were a lot of people working on the project of bundling up the flags, not just some McCain staffers creating a situation.
