Ron Paul: Physical Opposition to government may become Necessary

In a radio interview earlier this week, U.S. congressman Ron Paul said it may become necessary for citizens to resort to physical opposition if the government continues to erode civil liberties and commit international acts of aggression.

Asked by radio show host Alex Jones if he believed in the use of violence or other physical action to oppose an unjust government, Paul, a one-time presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party and a contender for the Republican presidential nomination until he dropped out of the race earlier this year, answered in the affirmative.

"Well, there's always that possibility that, that time will come." he said. "I believe in that."

Sure is, and Ron Paul did speak the truth

I would think “Withholding” of taxes in mass is more effective though

The massive amount of tax money that’s collected is the root of problems, only tax money collected for routine govt requirements as per constitution needed, except in the 21st century military superiortity R&D is needed

A great example of the public interest being threatened is taxes used to enable illegal aliens, if they didn’t have the money they couldn’t do it!

I took that oath and reaffirmed it on 4 different occasions in front of witnesses.

God ain't relieved me of that oath yet and he's the only one that can.

Dude, you need to step away from listening to Alex Jones, walk out side, take a good look around. Spend some time in the real world.. The libirchers types have been saying this has been happening for a half a century, yet it never has.

I would suggest you grab a copy of this and have a good read.

Study the ancient archetypes of controllers, the repressed, the secret societies, etc. It is all part of human and societal nature to have these delusions, rarely do they ever come true.

That depends.

I believe in the Declaration. It doesn't say "whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness, unless such government results from elections.

No, I do not advocate violence against the present government at Washington.

But, I can easily foresee that government becoming "destructive of these ends", and I can see the "right of the People to alter or abolish it" being denied, elections or no.

In such a case, then, yes, I would support such a course of action.

I don’t disagree. However, when in the course of tyrannical government, the necessity to quickly and forecefully respond must not be subjugated. Suppose Tyrant suspends the franchise eliminating our ability to use the Democratic Process to flush him out?

So the Ron Paul is advocating violence against the government, yet he wants to surrender to al Qaeda. Uh, huh.

I really do not like this man or his followers. Ron Paul's army of idiots is small. They want to take up arms against the government, it will not take long to rid this world of him or them.
