It doesn't say "whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness, unless such government results from elections.
No, I do not advocate violence against the present government at Washington.
But, I can easily foresee that government becoming "destructive of these ends", and I can see the "right of the People to alter or abolish it" being denied, elections or no.
In such a case, then, yes, I would support such a course of action.
