A new SurveyUSA survey finds Sen. John McCain's GOP convention speech has scored well, at least with Florida voters.
We asked voters who heard the speeches by both McCain and Obama to tell us who would do a better job with certain issues. Here is what they told us:
Who has the better plan for Iraq? McCain
For energy independence? McCain
For Health care? McCain
Who is stronger on the environment? McCain
On education? McCain

All I care about is a W though, no matter if it is small or a landslide.
That is why my focus continues to be on Ohio, Colorado, Virginia, Florida and Nevada. Anything additional beyond those states is gravy.

I still consider you one of ‘us’ - even if you don’t illegally vote in the US like Obama supporters in Chicago..... Conservatives are only found in the U.S. and we don’t have a copyright on the ideas.

Today is a great day for many reasons. I know the bounce is temporary but a huge McCain win may be coming. If he takes Washington, it could be part of a 40 state rout.

Thanks for the input. I hope you’re right. I think McCain has the edge nationwide now, sans convention bump. I only wish there were ten debates, the more people see him and palin, the more people hear bidden and the messiah, the more likely a landslide will be for McCain.

The dymanics of this race have changed. Obama is falling apart big time, the gop is just hitting it’s stride. This is going to be a McCain blowout.
