(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 09/04/08) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s eligibility to serve as President of the United States, has received confirmation from his Process Service Company that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Senator Barack Obama were served today, September 4, 2008, with the legal documents pertaining to Berg vs. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083.
The DNC was served at 12:00 p.m. and Senator Obama was served at 1:00 p.m. The U.S. Attorney’s Office accepted service on behalf of the Federal Elections Committee (FEC) on or about August 22, 2008.

Ain't it the truth! And the fact that we've not needed such a law for 200 years is just one more piece of evidence as to far America is slipping. Time was a person would not have dreamed of filing for a position if he or she knew for a fact that they were not qualified. I trace this newly found arrogance back to Al Gore and his famous, “no controlling legal authority” or whatever it was he said when he finally agreed what he had done was against the law. Then he had the gall to simply add that although against the law, the law made no provision for enforcement!
Of course, the granddaddy of all such modern snarkyness is no less a scoundrel than Slick Willey!
I’m mostly concerned with the precedent it will set if he’s never had to prove his citizenship. Win or lose the precedent for non citizens to run will be set (at least in the eyes of many judges). Next thing you know we’ll have dozens of foreign candidates running despite the fact that they can’t take office. After a decade of that the sheeple will have long forgotten the pesky constitutional requirements.

But, you know all about the double standard for Democrats. They'll riot in the streets over the "theft" of Obama's candidacy if he's disqualified. Besides, he's transcendent, dont'ya know. The One shouldn't be held to the same standards as mere mortals.

A Certificate of Live Birth is not the same as a birth certificate. Mr. Berg thinks that bho was likely born in Kenya and brought to Hawaii a day or 2 later to get a certificate. At 18, his mother was not old enough to automatically confer US citizenship on him if he was born outside the US. In addition, Mr. Berg thinks that even if he is wrong about the birth (which he is pretty sure he is not) he claims that when bho was adopted by Soetoro, he became an Indonesian citizen thereby losing any US citizenship he may have had. We do know bho went to Pakistan (most American kids go to Ft. Lauderdale or South Padre Island but not bho!!) on an INDONESIAN passport when he was 20. I hope this is true and he spends time in a federal gray bar hotel.
