Hundreds of flags that were discarded by the DNC and headed to the trash were rescued and are being given out today at the McCain-Palin Rally in CO.
It is unclear as to how the flags were discovered, some were reportedly discovered by a vendor by a dumpster. The flags were stuffed into dozens of black garbage bags and others were crammed into a supply closet awaiting disposal...Developing details...

The Democrats rented their convention space, and then vacated it. Absent arrangement otherwise, property which is left behind in a rented space is generally presumed abandoned. It is conceivable that the Democrats left the flags behind, having made arrangements to have them bundled and shipped to a future event, but that the crews that were cleaning up the space didn't get the message and so threw the flags in the garbage.
If such a scenario occurred in practice, then it would be gracious for the Republicans to return the flags. But I'm unaware of the Democrats having even claimed such a thing. Further, if such a thing had occurred, the Democrats should have noticed it before the Republicans revealed it.

I believe that’s a picture of the flags AFTER they were culled from the dumpster and other trash bags.

I have a few pictures of the rally in Colorado Springs that include the waving the flags that were thrown away by the dems in Denver. But I need help posting them. Anyone?

I bet those flags weren’t even made in America - probably Chinese made to boot (meanwhile Obama talks about keeping jobs in America....).

Were other things left behind that were intended for future use (like signs, stickers, other campaign materials, etc)?
From what I’ve seen so far it looks like the Obama campaign was packed up and outta there, and everything left behind (especially in bags next to dumpsters) was garbage.
