Sean Hannity got a chance to interview Elisabeth at the RNC about her thoughts on the whole event, as well as her thoughts specifically on Sarah Palin. Needless to say, Elisabeth is stoked as are most of us, and shes not ashamed to show it. The only question is, she agreed with Sean that community organizer is a bogus title, and the past week on The View, Whoopi & Sherri both said they were offended by Sarah making fun of that title. It will be interesting to see how they react to Elisabeth next week.

There was an Asian co-host on the show years ago. I actually liked her. I don't know if she was conservative or not but I honestly can't recall being annoyed with The View as often back then, either - it was before 9/11 IIRC.
FYI EVERYONE - I just went to The View website to see what the woman's name was that I was remembering and I couldn't find it (unfortunately the site also caused my browser to crash.) IIRC at all, it may have been Lucy Liu? If not, the woman I am remembering looked a LOT like her.
Anyway, here is what I found out at the website:
John McCain will be on The View on September 12, 2008. I'm kind of assuming that the segment(s) will also be viewable on YouTube after McCain's appearance and/or at the campaign site:

I think her name was Lisa Ling. Lucy Lui is an actress.

You're exactly right, Tublecane. Thank you for the correction. I knew Lucy Liu couldn't be right because she was in Charlie's Angels! LOL I thought - well, it could be POSSIBLE, but not likely!
I was right that it was before 9/11 and the Iraq War, so that is probably exactly why I didn't notice so much nastiness on The View - that and Clinton was in office so that probably explains a LOT, too! LOL
Come to think of it I remember them ripping on Bill Clinton for his indiscretions, so they weren't exactly all "sweet" towards him either... Clinton and Gore certainly weren't exposed to nearly as much vitriol on the show as Bush and Cheney are now though... That's for sure!
It looks like she is currently working for Oprah, so I assume that means she probably an Obamaite... Oh well... She did seem nice though - perhaps she's just not too bright? I still don't understand why otherwise seemingly bright people choose to embrace socialist/communist ideologies. They can't possibly think - even if they ARE nice people themselves - that everyone in the world is like that... I don't think I'll ever understand it really...
Anyway, here is her data from Wikipedia
Lisa Ling Profile
Early life and career
Ling started in television when she was chosen as one of the four hosts of Scratch, a nationally-syndicated teen magazine show based in Sacramento. At 18, she joined Channel One News as one of their youngest reporters and anchors. Among her roles was war correspondent, including assignments in Iraq and Afghanistan. She has won numerous awards for her reporting. She attended the University of Southern California.
The View
Ling joined The View on August 2, 1999, and left the show towards the end of 2002 to go back to international reporting. She drew fire for her comments after the September 11 attacks, in which she said that Americans should think about why other people would want to attack them.[1]
National Geographic Ultimate Explorer
She accepted an offer to host National Geographic Ultimate Explorer and in 2005 the show moved to the National Geographic Channel with the return of the original name National Geographic Explorer. She covered the drug war in Colombia, investigated the notorious MS-13 gang and explored the culture of U.S. prisons.
The Oprah Winfrey Show
Most recently, Ling has become a special correspondent forThe Oprah Winfrey Show which has featured many of Ling's investigative pieces, including a report on North Korea. Ling's title is "Oprah Show Investigative Reporter." She also has reported on bride burning in India, gang rape in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda, child trafficking in Ghana, the immediate aftermath of the hurricane in New Orleans and the April 2007 Virginia Tech Massacre.

“I wish just once that the View would invite a thinking conservative like Glen Beck or Rush....”
Sorry, it is a policy of the View that no guests are allowed with more than the IQ of a snail because they don’t want their “hosts” to be shown up.

Rush or any thinking conservative would reduce those gals to the F* word and personal attacks. That’s just what libtards do when confronted with the truth.

I predict she won’t be on there for much longer, she would be welcome on Fox anytime. Monday’s show should be interesting.

She once held up her photo from high school. You would never know it was the same woman. She was unbelievably homely.
