I could maybe theoretically support someone LIKE him in SOME areas if he was what he says he is. I can have respect for people who stand up for the Constitution. As it is, both parties pick and choose what they like in it, most egregiously in terms of govt powers and spending. That said, Paul is a phony, and only in it for the money for himself and his family. He acts like the noble patriot, and fools the young, but he is a fraud. He is like Obama in that sense- supposedly a change candidate, but really the only change either wants is more power and money.
Of course, the Nanny-Staters love to jump on idiot examples like this and broad-brush Ron Paul supporters with them...but would scream in violent protest if anyone ever associated them with the wackos in their own political camp.
Of course, these same FReepers who have been screaming we should all just jump onto John McCain's bandwagon without a fuss seem to be happy that enough fuss was made to make McCain appease conservatives with the Palin pick. If we'd followed the boot-licking strategy, a conservative wouldn't have been nearly as appealing to him.

Yes... all of these *leftist* “Ron Paul supporters” don’t really support his conservative platform...they are just using it as a means of entry into the GOP and smearing conservatism. They would NEVER want to see Ron Paul’s conservatism put into practice—they’d choke over the Pro-Life, Pro-Border-Security, Pro-Gun, Low-Tax, Small-Government, Less-Government-Intrusion, etc., policies.

I think McCain should have brought him down and given him a microphone just like he does in his townhall meetings, exposing the moonbattery of these leftist Obama supporters. Then McCain could have given a response that just totally eviscerated this guy’s weak-minded argument.
Bump for later. I had a suspicion this may have been the case and was told that it was a “wild” conspiracy theory. All theories about how the access was obtained were conspiracies, one was that she got a pass from a Ron Paulian. One was that she got it from MSNBC. And one was that someone fabricated the pass for her.
All require the actions of multiple people, ergo conspiracy.
