Who is minding the store, as we party in St. Paul? Why, our president of course.

Uhhh.... the same adults that have been in charge the last 7.5 years?
Namely, G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

I’m sure as hell glad that Pat Buchanan isn’t minding the store. He seems to be getting overly fond of our enemies, from Hitler on down.

OK I understand no one wants to have anything to do with Bush for petty political reasons, but I was damned happy to hear several speakers acknowledge that under his watch, we have been kept safe for the past years. And a lot more.
Thank you, President Bush!

The President you dumba$$.
LOVE the way the Leftist Media takes a win and tries to spin it into a loss. Oops for this author though.... they just outlined why we DON'T need to have a placater in office like Obama, we do NOT need another Chamberlain, or the IDIOT policies he would bring. That WOULD get us into a world war for CERTAIN.

Pat should have stopped five paragraphs in. Were it someone else I would not dispute his cautions about a world in turmoil. However as well all know (or should) Pat is a notorious isolationist. He knows it's a dangerous world out there. His plan for handling it though is to do nothing.

I think it’s very sad that Dick Cheney will not get his due. A true patriot and master administrator who gave up a lucrative position to serve the people in the twilight of his career.
A great man. History will be kind to him.

Pat has absolutely gone off the rails of late. I wish he would disassociate himself from conservatism.

And a lot more. Thank you, President Bush! I am glad you are that understanding. I'm Not. Any candidate that tries to put too much distance from the President will do so at the peril of leaving my vote and support.

I would give anything if, just one time, Pat would pull the chair out from under Rachel Maddow in the middle of one of her hysterical rants. I can only do it in my mind.

After the current crop of far left wing "historians" at US colleges and universities are dead, history will remember Bush as a good to near-great president, comparable to Harry Truman.
