AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
IT'S OPEN LINE FRIDAY
"OMG! Why is it acceptable to make any conceivable Liberal choice of lifestyle under the sun and if anyone dared question it, much less mock it, we would be immediately attacked as being intolerant. Well, why is it ok and pc even to have not just intolerance but a palpable hatred of morality and respect for life and the value of family?!? I personally am sick to death of it. Bravo, Gov. Palin, for being a decent human being."
These are Stalinists we are dealing with. Their whole angle with pushing "tolerance" was to squelch debate and your opinions. As Stalin said: "Ideas are more dangerous than guns, and we wouldn't let our enemies have guns, now would we?" The Stalinists don't want to let you have your own ideas. They aren't interested in principles or consistency, only their own power and keeping you silenced.
You don’t need permission for parodies.
Yep, and it is over 17 years old which relaxes some of the use rules IIRC.
*LOL* Oh my goodness....too funny.
Missed most of Rush’s first hour, but I must say, I truly did like parts of McCain’s speech. For all my distrust and discomfort with him; I did feel like he “connected” as the pundits say, with me last night. Was it a perfect speech? No, but it was something I could get behind! I loved the finish.
I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription... is more Palin!”
Is Post #189 working?
I did not see that!
You are RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
Bad Bambie....
I thought I recalled a rapper (the one who did “Gangsta’s Paradise”) getting upset with Weird Al Yankovic because the latter recorded “Amish Paradise” without his permission.
Is Post #189 working? Yes
Sarah is out there im-Palin’ Obama, big time!
Yes! I just wish they'd actually convict her. Liberals would benefit from actually incurring consequences for a change. She'll probably get away with a reduced misdemeanor charge.
Ive got a fever.....
L0L!
Bye all...going to go out and enjoy the lake with my friend since the summer people left and the lake is still nice. Have a great weekend!!
Zero is reading straight from Gore’s notes it sounds like. Most of what he just said is factually wrong.
It’s not about “tolerance”, it’s about paralyzing the forces of traditional values from mobilizing against them.
He is such a f*cking buffoon!
Thanks. Its choppy here prolly cuz I am eating bandwith like crazy
Is Obama trying to sound like a tough guy with this statement? If so, he fails.
The case was argued before the USSC in the series of two live crew and two live jew cases.
IRONICALly the lawyer who argued the case was famous for looking like some amish dude.
fair use parody is legal. ESPECIALL POLITICAL PARODY.
I agree with you on that. People who were expecting him to instantly transform into a conservative were of course, disappointed, but I expected McCain to be McCain.
