These are Stalinists we are dealing with. Their whole angle with pushing "tolerance" was to squelch debate and your opinions. As Stalin said: "Ideas are more dangerous than guns, and we wouldn't let our enemies have guns, now would we?" The Stalinists don't want to let you have your own ideas. They aren't interested in principles or consistency, only their own power and keeping you silenced.
